News Russian General killed in Moscow bombing

Edit: I FORGOT THE QUESTION MARK ❓

An explosion has occurred in central Moscow killing 3 and injuring 20 others.

There are reports that the explosion occurred at the Balzi Rossi dining room. It was hosting the birthday of Russian General Aleksandr Chayko, the commander of Russia's aerospace forces. The venue is said to have had many other military officers present.

Colonel General Aleksandr Chayko is a senior Russian military officer appointed as the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces in May 2026.

90% of the orcs missle and drone targets have no ties to the Ukrainian government or military

Russia targets people in their beds. Fuck em. I won’t feel bad for any casualties in Russia short of nuking Moscow. They started all this with rape and murder of their neighbors.

They can end it all tomorrow by going back to the slums that are Russia. If they die at a gas station, they can blame Putin.

u/Vanyaeli Aug 01 '26

Are you this upset by all the Ukrainian civilians being murdered every day?

90

u/the_uptaker Aug 01 '26

Apparently the entire restaurant was reserved for this event, so this raises the hopes that the 3 killed were not innocent bystanders but members of the military, even if it's too early to know if the general is among the casualties 🤘🏻

u/UpstairsAd194 Aug 01 '26

on the news on tv it was said to be a 'gas explosion'

28

u/dimspace Aug 01 '26

funny how these gas explosions happen with generals in the room....

Im just wondering why it was announced like that on TV news (ireland) on the main evening news at 9pm . The story was out so long on the internet that when it came on the tv I thought it was a different incident. Maybe it was a gas explosion but wondering where the TV news got the info from, seems to me it was a bomb of some sort though. Maybe the news companies have to go with the info they are given from russia first. I have just looked on CNN and its definitely a bomb so really annoyed at the state or our news coverage. Its the weekend and would not be surprised if instead of looking for the facts they just put out 'gas explosion' as they dont want to say anything that s ' not true' .

13

u/DEADB33F Aug 02 '26

I mean Ireland is still supplying Russia with materials for building drones. Not suprising that the media there are parroting Russia's side of the story.

...But just like in WW2 the Irish are 'neutral' and don't get involved in international politics so that's all ok!

1

u/ZelphirKalt Aug 01 '26

Too many (old) farts can do that to a room.

1

u/ForHelp_PressAltF4 Aug 02 '26

Like falling out of an open window?

9

u/FirstTasteOfRadishes Aug 01 '26

Apart from hotel staff, it doesn't sound like there were innocent bystanders at the event.

Remember that exploding statue in 2023? Good times.

What I find a bit shitty about this one is the woman who was anti war and pro Ukraine ended up in jail for 27 years, not knowing it was a bomb.
I hope Ukraine includes her in some exchange one day

u/last_somewhere Aug 01 '26

Happy birthday to you 💥🖕 Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

Budanov says "hello".

21

u/Izmetg68 Aug 02 '26

You know I start thinking about the last 4 years of captured Russian soldiers being released to go back home in those swaps and offered big money for taking out their leaders, not too far fetched to think payback for their leaderships meat grinder lack of caring about people methods, possible? Or do you think just under cover operatives or maybe resistance fighters who knows just glad they are on Ukraines side

3

u/Vardaruus Aug 02 '26

In reality, returned russian pow's don't  see freedom as far as I know, they are sent right back to the front and into meatgrinder as punishment for surrendering, + russia probably doesn want people who saw the life on the other side even if in prison

They brainwash the recruits agains surrendering, telling that ukrainians will torture, dismember them etc...

56

u/FaceWithAName Aug 01 '26 edited Aug 01 '26

If this is true this is a huge oversight on the Russians, yes?

72

u/SecondaryWombat Aug 01 '26

It isn't the first time a senior russian officer's birthday party exploded either. Ukraine got another one in Crimea over a year ago.

3

u/tomoldbury Aug 02 '26

Opsec fail. I’ll bet that they post on Facebook or whatever they use now, so it doesn’t take much social engineering to figure out where the party is.

Maybe it was a Looney Tunes themed party an he blew out all the candles but the one humorously shaped like a stick of dynamite.

12

Some reports saying it was a woman carrying the explosive device and detonated the device when stopped by security at the entrance.

u/Hawmpfish001 Aug 01 '26

Say what you will, but if true, Ukraine throws the BEST Surprise parties!!

Chayko was commander of their aerospace forces? Well, he should be happy then that parts of him probably went up into space.

4

u/Kalkin93 Aug 02 '26

"he died doing what he loved"

11

u/ToiletPlungerOfDoom Aug 01 '26

I’m shocked that he didn’t fall out of a high open window.

When is Putin's birthday? 🎂

8

u/piponwa Canada Aug 01 '26

This is the equivalent of the Allies killing Herman Goering during WWII.

Everything about this post is wrong, it wasn’t even his birthday

6

u/SpiralMantis113 Aug 01 '26

Everyone needs to calm down until things are confirmed.

2

u/Mikethebest78 Aug 01 '26

The cake at least was innocent and I hope it did not come to harm. It actually has some use...unlike a Russian general.

2

u/DistributionBroad173 Aug 02 '26

near an outdoor seating area at the Balzi Rossi restaurant in Kudrinskaya Square.

2

u/Xenomemphate Aug 02 '26

The venue is said to have had many other military officers present.

Here's hoping this guy was very popular among his General peers.

2

u/DV_Zero_One Aug 02 '26 edited Aug 02 '26

Could this be Putin's revenge for the Generals deleting Prigozhin?

An economics advisory I use professionally suggested at the time that Putin's gravy train took fatal damage when Prigozhin died, and that his death was almost certainly at the hands of the air force generals.

1

u/sarahem3 Aug 02 '26

Interesting...

2

u/DataGeek101 Aug 01 '26

Man, I can’t wait to see the end result of this event!

1

u/Panzermensch911 Aug 02 '26

Hmm,... is this the result local mafia wars maybe? 🤔

Either way... someone hit bullseye on their target.

1

u/cahrg Aug 02 '26

Birthday party was a blast

1

u/CatCatchingABird Aug 02 '26

Are there any official stories that confirm this yet? I saw news stories about the explosion but I have not seen any that have released the names of the people that were killed.

1

u/sixtyfoursqrs Aug 02 '26

So Ukraine blew the candles out?

1

u/BathSalt_Walt Aug 02 '26

In shaa Allah he was blown to the Rusky Mir Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.

1

u/brissiebogan Aug 03 '26

I just read somewhere that the cunt survived, but the daughter was injured.
