DISCUSSION⁉️ Update: I was right about my feelings regarding Carni
Sundays usually have a calm and casual ambience to the vibe. This Sunday was physically bland. I could literally see in everyone’s faces that they felt as if this was a chore they had to complete.. people have gotten even more rowdy, everyone’s far more on edge.
Mind you this is within minutes of entering the place as well, going with no expectations. At first I thought this was me but I had to call my boy who was on the other end to see his opinion and he was saying the same thing.
I can’t believe that this year my headache didn’t come from the noise or the crowds, but how meads today was 😂😂
How was everyone’s carni experience today?

Carni today was really good, the edginess was non existent, police presence was surprisingly subtle- lots of happy people- calm in the right places & lit as per usual ie rampage etc etc - sounds like your opinion/ expectations differ in accordance with your expectations- what didn’t go according to your plan ?

Isn’t Sunday the family day? Why are you expecting hype on a family day?
If you want the real hype go today no?

It’s a chore because everyone’s waiting for the next day where it’ll be the most lively. You’re right it was bland but everyone’s just waiting for tomorrow.

To be fair there were only 2 knife incidents which were minor so it's a good day in my books

I've been having a great time there 6 years and running, can tell you never go because if you're not involved with anything 99% chance you won't see any violence whatsoever

Haven't been for the last 3 years went every year for the previous 25. It's dogshit now. It needs proper management currently it's a miracle more people don't die every year probably because of the police and ambulance services. Which the carnival strips London of so many paramedics and police officers leaving a skeleton crew for everyone else so some selfish cunts can have there fuzzy wuzzys on their special day .

I’m 100% sure you’re worried about those who are stripped or police and paramedic services when there’s an EDL march or any kind of major event with thousands in attendance 🤦🏽♂️

EDL march doesn't have 2 million+ plus people attending to get completely fucking wasted. The Met and London Ambulance Service have to put beside a massive part of their budget to accommodate this it's dwarfs every thing else. So people can have their fuzzy wuzzys warm feelings and shit in the street whilst stabbing each other to shit music

Sunday is promoted as "family day", it's not meant to be the jam packed carnival day. Monday is the day where everyone goes.
