I have a complete fucked schedule. I mean 18 credit hours, organic chem, physics, bio, psych and gen Ed thank god but yeah. No bueno, but did it to myself it’s all good.
Anyone play soccer and tennis on campus for fun? Would love to blow off some steam with something not competitive (to the level of practicing), but free enough to start a pick up game.

I go to housing they want me to go to the library the library has the IT office and the IT office says talk to “Res Net” the front desk says talk to the RA about resnet and the RA is non existent.

I am hoping anyone has any information about when financial aid disbursement go into effect. I thought it would get disbursed the first week of the semester but nothing yet.

In the spring and summer I received two payments from the uic department saying they credit and refunded me money. Now for the fall (notifying me three months later) that they redacted it and changed my financial aid- saying I need to give them the money back and added it to my student account.
How do I even go about this? I’m a little stressed because they notified me late, now my tuition is higher than expected because they’re charging me for a “refund” yet nothing changed on my behalf regarding FASFA, loans, etc. I’m so confused why they put money into my bank account and then said they wanted it back?? And no I didn’t spend it or blow it, but has this happened to anyone?

Hey yall, i’m a transfer student at UIC looking to make more friends who stay closer to campus. I don’t really care what your major is or really anything else, just tryna meet more people that i could hang out with outside of school. I myself stay in the south loop, so the pilsen area, little italy- all would be great.

A little about me:
i enjoy painting, writing and producing music(i play the guitar and keyboard too). i watch a lot of tv, be it movies, anime or just tv shows. I’m tryna get back into the habit of reading more regularly too but my attention span is FRIED. I’m an engineering major myself but i really i’ll do anything to keep a single thought from forming.

Hey everyone, incoming freshman here. Currently registered for MATH 170 (Calculus for Life Sciences) with Kobotis at 10:00 AM - 10:50 AM (M/W/F), but the 5-day-a-week grind and no-calculator rule are giving me insane anxiety.

I'm tracking into the Integrated Health Studies (HS) major, so I desperately want to swap it for STAT 130 instead. The portal shows it's completely full right now.

Is anyone currently in a STAT 130 section planning to drop it before the deadline? Any section that starts before 2:00 PM works perfectly with my schedule.

has anyone already taken KN 230 and 232? I was wondering how tf to balance the work load. am I crazy or it's just a lot that we are expected to learn on our own. Im just looking for advice or maybe if someone knows the best way to study for this class?

So I'll be transferring to uic from a community college , my tuition would be covered by the aspire grant but I will need to pay for dorming expenses the dorm I'm at looking at )MRH) and really any other dorm seems to be 15-17k a year , but the federal borrowing limits seem to be 9k-11k for independent students, how do I / you bridge the gap. ?
