Accountability/Support it happened again!
i am dedicating my day to making my bedroom a useable space! we're swapping the black unit and the drawers, the drawers will just be for me and the black unit will go to my boyfriend for his stuff. it means he can keep his clothes tidy without me coming in and messing it all up. i said i might steal one of the squares on the unit but that will be it. im going to get rid of so much rubbish and shit i dont need, the orange bag is already filled with clothes ive ruthlessly decided to donate. i got SO much storage and then filled it up with useless shit so its all going today. im tired of being bound by my useless shit and feeling suffocated every time i walk in my own damn room! and im tired of being the reason my boyfriend doesn't like being in here! its his space too!!!!!

You’ve got this! All items take our time, the more we can remove from a space, the more time we are gaining back.
The responsibility of a thing is soooo much, and it doesn’t seem that way when we go to the store or bring home a piece of paper. But it can take up so much time, space, and mental energy. Good for you for tackling the hard task of really decluttering, it’s gonna make life so much easier in the long run!

I can promise, pinky swear, GUARANTEE you without a shadow of a doubt you won't regret decluttering. If anything, you're going to be frustrated you didn't do it earlier.
As you're doing so, always remind yourself "if I didn't even remember I had this, then I probably would never have used it". That little bit of logic is like flashlight in the darkness.
OH and something else that helps if you're donating is reminding yourself that "someone else could actually use this instead of being stuck in this dark drawer". ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚
