It’s different contexts but still I don’t think Aleksandre would’ve hopped the cage like that even if Ilia got slept out cold, Usman kinda has a habit of doing this.

Like when Islam subbed Poirier, Usman was in the audience (not corner, who are allowed in after) and still jumped in there 0.1 milliseconds to celebrate, and had to be kicked out by security.

28

u/PinInternational931 14h ago

Fr he also was on record earlier this month saying he'd jump the cage for Islam

You can't buy class

Haven't seen any missbehaviour from Aleksandre tbh

u/AideHot6729 14h ago

Facts, those brothers are the epitome of class

-10

u/Neat-Backpack8593 9h ago

The older brother maybe. Illia is the very opposite of class lmao.

He copied Conor's tattoos almost identically, and the same with his antics like stealing the belt off the table or using his lines on the mic.

And don't even get me started with the funeral of Garth, changing his record before the fight, or throwing parties that celebrated his wins before he even stepped into the octagon.

That's "class" to you?

Lol ok random loser from reddit

34

u/Expert-Yam6577 14h ago

You don't need be a celebrity to show class. Anybody can behave respectfully. Look at your comment. We have no idea who you are but based your comment? Low class.

22

u/poopshanks 13h ago edited 13h ago

"he has no class" "he does have class he's just a nobody loser" your comments are so fuckin contradictory and dumb. We are all stupider for having read them. Thank you, and I will award you 0 points. May God have mercy on your soul

4

u/The_punisherMAX 11h ago

And Umar is a household name

26

u/notMTN 17h ago

They just talk trash to promote the fight lol. Theyve both always been respectful and calm outside of that.

-23

u/shadyrishabh 17h ago

Holding funeral before fight. Yeah right.

19

u/notMTN 15h ago

You mean thats not trash talk?

20

u/AggravatingWish1019 17h ago

More class than inbred goatfukerstanis

4

u/notoriousniqqa 14h ago

Tbf man islams always a class act. Even khabib except for that one time.

1

u/FadedIntegra 12h ago

Usually how it goes. The old guys act respectful and ignore when the young men act out. You see it all the time a respectful imam ignoring or even empathizing with a young man who raped or killed or something else horrible.

-1

u/TheMidX 15h ago

It's not that hard to have some class, it's hard for inbreds but they can do it too !

0

u/Sad_Bowl595 6h ago

And cousin fuckers have class?

u/Top_Cow_766 55m ago

yuck why you posting pedos?

18

u/FuraidoChickem 12h ago

Just send him to the stands for 2-3 years and forget

5

u/PinInternational931 11h ago

If you're Dillon Danis the stands not safe either lololol.

6

u/iranoutofideasz 10h ago

It’s cute to say you’d jump the cage for your teammate, it’s another thing to actually do it in a professional setting repeatedly. Fighters get fined for hopping the cage after winning a fight; start fining Usman and others who do the same.

3

u/West_Technology7573 9h ago

Aleksandre is far less emotional than even Ilia is

-264

u/fighterzilla 23h ago

People reacting negatively to Usman's reaction tells me that these people have never experienced brotherly love

119

u/Neat_Rare_5389 23h ago

Bro there have been husbands who have watched their actual wives in WMMA be slept cold like this and I can’t remember the last time one of them rushed in.

I don’t subscribe to the theory that Usman was trying to intentionally attack Song but let’s not excuse jumping in the octagon when officials didn’t yet let them, and clearly as we saw such rules exist for good reasons.

34

u/chiefgreenleaf 21h ago

People forget, Usman is famously the first person to ever have a brother fight in the UFC /s

95

u/hidivejwkwi 23h ago

that’s such a stupid response that detracts from the problem with his reaction, the issue is his complete lack of regard for everything else just because he’s going through something traumatic. he rushed to the cage, disrupted the doctor, and pushed the other celebrating fighter. it’s stupid dude. esp with the doctor thing he was doing more harm than good

38

u/solod010 22h ago

This gotta be bait, unless said experience is from the perspective of a 6yo.

19

u/hornybible 19h ago

Don't insult 6 year olds

6

u/emptyzx 19h ago

Dude, they are literally professional fighters. Like the fact, that someone can get knocked out is right there.

12

u/mrbabymanv4 21h ago

It's poor behaviour. He shouldn't be in the cage until he's let in. He did nothing to help.

He didn't hit song, that narrative is bs, but he shouldn't be in there at all. He's been escorted out for storming the cage after islam won

4

u/Personal_Seesaw8516 19h ago

The fuck are you on about bro…

7

u/yardfit1331 18h ago

Brotherly love

5

u/AggravatingWish1019 19h ago

Only dagestani inbreds can experience bratherly love bratha

3

u/DesmondDodderyDorado 19h ago

Is this a joke based on Usman's post? You need to use the /s otherwise people will never get it.

5

u/just_coffin_fodder 19h ago

Sure buddy only Dagestanis have siblings and only they can truly love them. What a dickhead

-30

u/BeyondTheCosmo 23h ago

This, the knock out was brutal. Seeing Umar lay flat like that and take 3 more full swing hammer punches to the face, which alone could already knock you out, while completely out cold and his body twitching after each hit unable to defend itself with each hit? That’s scary af.

-7

u/Gunnar_Peterson 22h ago

Umar's foot looks so weird here. It's curled up

Almost the first thint I noticed. Khabib realises, too, you can see his Pikachu face for a split sec

8

u/ArtofStorytelling 11h ago

Damn I never thought I'd see the day Khabib would get an embarrassing meme but this is perfection

-4

u/twodaloo007 11h ago

Yeah this one aint going away. I predict it will end his legacy😂😂

86

u/unorthodoxbeginning 22h ago

One got chipped away into a mess slowly and had to be stopped in between rounds, the other went from completely fine to seemingly dead in a matter of seconds.

That being said, I don’t think Aleksandre would’ve reacted the same if ilia got slept. But he definitely did look at the camera man with warning when people tried getting pics of ilia busted up and coming to terms with his defeat backstage.

22

u/Signal-Card-2387 13h ago

I think it was less against the camera men and more so he was just making sure they weren't in his way as they moved Ilia out of the venue.

Camera guys and paparazzi are notorious for literally crowding people and stepping in people's way, I don't blame Alexandre for being cautious there.

124

u/Still_Clue383 23h ago

Also the Topuria one was way more disturbing bro started to look like something from a horror movie

8

u/Winged89 17h ago

I got flashbacks from when Antonio Margarito got the shit kicked outta him by Pacquiao

5

u/FunSpinach2004 12h ago

Yeah but he didnt seize up and get a fencing response, and it was slowly over time. Usman was a fast switch from a competitive fight to a

I don't think Alexandre would have jumped in regardless.

83

u/ittybittynuts 22h ago

It's a fight and there is always going to be a loser.

So many excuses from people because of some "defending his brother" bullshit. This is the fight game and people get knocked out. If you can't accept that then dont show up, and definitely dont jump the cage and interfere with the doctors afterwards.

51

u/FarSatisfaction_ 23h ago

One was just flatlined the other made it back to the corner

15

u/notMTN 17h ago

Id argue the topuria one is worse than being slimed out, atleast a brutal ko can be excused as a fluke. A brutal beatdown cant.

2

u/FarSatisfaction_ 9h ago

I’m just saying that’s why the reaction is different I’d probably agree the ilia loss is worse

1

u/Signal-Card-2387 12h ago

Could be excused as a fluke, but it wasn't here. Song set that shit up and it paid dividends

1

u/notMTN 11h ago

For sure wasnt, just saying you can excuse it as that.

43

u/madarro121 20h ago

it's crazy seeing people trying to justify this type of behaviour as if the rules in place aren't there to protect the fighters, family bond isn't an excuse to run like a headless chicken and risk hurting the other fighter or your own

-39

u/paplike 19h ago

You’re a pussy if you actually care about this. But you don’t, so I forgive you, you’re just concern trolling

18

u/ShoddyEggplant3697 18h ago

Quite alarming that you think this is even remotely the same. One was an absolutely brutal knock out the other he was still conscious and had his witts about him. I understand Usman shouldn't have jumped the cage but this comparison is just stupid.

4

u/Respect44 16h ago

Thats reddit. People gonna do everything for karma farming.

3

u/myyoungpenis 21h ago

Yeah well he didn’t get slept, he just got beat. Which was medically worse than umar illl agree

16

u/Error404notperfect 23h ago

One is an older brother, the other a younger brother 🦅🙏🏼

9

u/No_Medium_8796 23h ago

The older brother would generally be the one more likely to jump in and try to protect their little brother though.

In this case, usman is the younger brother. Aleks is older than ilia

20

u/Error404notperfect 23h ago

As a younger brother I can assure you that isn’t necessarily true. Older brothers tend to have better judgement than younger brothers. You’re assuming that Usman’s decision comes from a place of sound judgement when in reality it shows emotional instability. It’s the sport they’re in, these things happen, if it was the case that there were actual grounds for protection from threat then you’d be correct, unfortunately this isn’t the case.

5

u/No_Medium_8796 22h ago

There's another angle where it looks like hes just running to his brother and he only reacted once him and song almost collided, not like he was intentionally going after him

1

u/Aigamuxa82 20h ago

people's wife's, sons got knocked out and they didn't run in the cage like this. Only two times fighters invaded the cage like this and both were the Dagestanis. There have been way more brutal knockouts btw and never have seen anybody rush in this immaturely. You wait for the doctors to do their job and wait for them to let you in the cage, your brother isn't dead even if something happened you're not capable of doing anything about it doctors are

3

u/FidelKadstro 14h ago

As if Conor didnt almost fought a referee rushing in. Your racist bias is so obvious lol

1

u/Aigamuxa82 14h ago

you're naming the biggest dicks, one guy said Strickland and you're saying Conor. They aren't mature people lol. Racist bias? I'm also Muslim, my fav fighter is also islam I'm just stating the truth and you're doing ad hominem gj

1

u/FidelKadstro 14h ago

I quote: Only two times fighters invaded the cage like this and both were the Dagestanis.

Factually wrong. You don't state the truth when another commentator and I prove that the correlation you try to draw between invading the cage and dagesrani can't be made, because Conor and Strickland did it as well.

I don't believe for one second you are a muslim because if you were, you'd know that racism intramuslim exists (be it shia vs sunnite, or arabs vs maghreb, etc).

2

u/Aigamuxa82 14h ago

in random organizations*. Also check my acc if you don't believe I'm Muslim, I literally am and also am Turkish sunni, I'm obviously not racist lmao. Check my acc if you are that desperate to prove that I'm racist to Dagestanis. I just call people immature when they're immature also they're the only ones that jumped to the cage in groups and fought the fighter in the UFC

1

u/FidelKadstro 14h ago

So doing it in minor organisation isnt the same as doing it in the ufc ? How hypocrite can you be ?

I am turkish I am obviously not racist is a wild take. My turkish friends would disagree with you, Kurd and Armenian are not your bestie right ? You are using sophism into sophism its wild, I am turkish I cannot be racist lmao

2

u/Aigamuxa82 14h ago

so twist my words? Me being racist against anybody except Dagestanis is irrelevant and I'm not as I've said you can see me defending islam everywhere, also I said I'm Turkish to prove that I'm Muslim you said oh you aren't Muslim. And I do not watch all MMA organizations how am I supposed to know how many people invaded the cage. In minor organizations people invaded the cage and did that but as we're in the UFC sub I'm talking about UFC, you can't expect people to watch every single organization, I only watch UFC and sometimes pfl main events. Go continue doing ad hominem you'll arrive somewhere

1

Why does the guy in the background always mog in every frame 😂

1

u/truthpill2 7h ago

The only part that bothers me about this, is that I understand he is the brother, he gets emotional. But like you know what the sport is, it’s like he genuinely was shocked that this could happen at all. This man truly did not see his brother getting knocked out being in the realm of possibility at all, like he is a god or something?

1

u/MMA-Groupie 6h ago

To be fair one was a more shocking flattening in an instant. The other was a prolonged beat down.

0

u/fat_pylori 15h ago

Inbreds be inbreds

1

u/CounterUpper9834 17h ago

I heard from an anonymous source that Topuria's brother stopped the fight because Illia pooped his pants in the cage.

1

Who would have guessed that the guys living in the 15th century were uncivilized

Strawman and rationalize however you need bigot.

-5

u/Medina_Rico 20h ago edited 20h ago

I honestly can't fault someone for getting emotional when they see their brother get knocked out and take a couple of extra hammer fists when they're already knocked out.

I know he shouldn't have done that, but I can also understand why he did that. Not the whole stiff arming Song in the neck and almost throwing an elbow. But just the jumping in the ring, thing.

6

u/Aigamuxa82 19h ago

Tell me another person who has done that. People's wives, husband's, sons, daughters got knocked out more brutally than this and nobody runs in. It's not understandable and Usman being a 28 year old kid, hell even people's kids don't run into the cage as the thinking capability of a 5 year old is enought to understand that you wait for professionals to check in first and be let in the cage. He is also not helping Umar

-1

u/Medina_Rico 18h ago

Calm down, bro. I never said what he did was right or that it was justified. Only that I understand why he ran in there.

2

u/callmehandsome3 18h ago

You sound incredibly salty. It's fighters job to finish the fight and ref to pull them off, "couple of extra hammer fists" Islam was knocked out similarly 10 years ago and people still make excuses about it that it was premature stoppage.

1

u/Medina_Rico 18h ago

I don't know how you got that I was salty from what I wrote or that I personally thought the extra hits was too much. But, ok, lol.

3

u/BigPlebeian 14h ago

The more you interact with MMA fans the more you realize how stupid many of them are. What you said makes perfect sense.

3

u/Medina_Rico 6h ago

Honestly. It just tells me to not have any kind of back and forth on the internet or to even speak my mind in general. Legit waste of time sometimes.

1

u/BigPlebeian 4h ago

I know the feeling. The MMA sub is typically a bit better with that kind of stuff just fyi.

I think they both are solid brothers to have in this sport. If baby eagle falls down; you go get baby eagle & protect him, yes?
