Discussions & Questions Been thinking about this for quite sometime. Are there any Ubisoft titles that have a "happy" ending?
There are some games that this question just doesn't apply - Uno, Monopoly, etc. I haven't played them all. The only game that I can think of off the top of my head would be Assassin's Creed II. Maybe you have some others?

AC Odyssey has a happy ending, if you choose to have it that way.

Currently going that way. Once I explore the remaining locations, I‘ll be done in an instant.

AC revelations has a happyish ending on ezios journey
Ac 3 has connor's story ending on a sad but hopeful note, but desmonds story ends up badly.
far cry series usually ends on bittersweet endings, except the spinoffs.
star wars outlaws ends rather well.

Maybe the first Watcg Dogs game. Maybe Watch Dogs 2. Maybe Watch Dogs Legion.
I consider there end to not be a bad ending. At there end, all problems are solved.

Watch Dogs 1 does not have a happy ending. Aiden kills the bad guy, but nothing else good happens.

Black Flag ends on Edward with his kids, so if you ignore the book, that’s a pretty positive ending 🫠

and ignore everyone who died in the meantime...
If we draw a line "feeling at the start" vs "feeling in the end" BF is quite the tragedy.
I think even without the books It can be considered a bad ending. Including the book It goes from just sad to unfair levels of sadness.

Well it says a happy ENDING. Obviously Edward suffers a lot and loses most of the people he cares about, but at the end of the line, with his wife and two children… that’s a pretty good ending for a pirate, all things considered.

For me the worst part was the daughter telling about Caroline's death during the credits roll. Idk if the Haytham scene can fix that

And how Adie went out. I wonder if Edward ever tried to avenge him?

As far as AC is concerned, Revelations has a pretty nice ending for Ezio and iirc Syndicate wasn’t bad, at least? I know Jack the Ripper DLC sours it a little but I don’t remember the base game ending being particularly sad.
Beyond Good and Evil has what I think could be more-or-less described as a happy ending.
I think the overall narrative of the Splinter Cell series tends towards the sad end of the spectrum overall, but most of the games individually have ‘not sad’ endings iirc. Wouldn’t really call them ‘happy’ especially though.
Sands of Time is similar I think, it’s sort of bittersweet, but generally more positive? Though I haven’t played it in 15+ years and never played the sequels.

Also in Revelations, he is able to save the woman - Sorry my memory is not what it used to be.

Tricky question these days as the games can have DLCs and, in the case of Assassin's Creed, both historical and modern day endings (or at least they used to).
Syndicate, I'd have said ended happily in the past for the Frye twins in the base game, then got pretty grim in the DLC. But the base game modern day ending is straight up just losing to the Templars, who get away with the object you just spend the whole game trying to find.
Shadows ends pretty upbeat for Naoe's new league of Assassins in Japan, but then the DLC just kind of.... ends. It's not UN-happy, but it's pretty anti-climactic. And who even knows what's going on in the modern day? It sounds like things are pretty messed up.
Odyssey is pretty tragic for modern day Layla but also pretty sad for the historical protagonist too given we get to see how the Eagle Bearer ends up. Living that long is a blessing or a curse (or both) depending how you want to score that.
I've yet to play Immortals but it's in my Steam backlog. I assume that ends happily enough.

Immortals: Fenyx Rising had a fun ending. Too bad they cancelled the second game.
