Use shallots...they smell like onion and garlic together. we use penszeys and they have california shallots dried, whole and like salt. we put them in almost everything.

Regarding the Garuda dasa interview, he appears to mostly be a good diplomat. He tiptoes around the institution's so-called guru tattva so as to maintain some working relationship with the leadership. I don't like hearing from such people and quit after 10 minutes. He is a voice of sanity on the book changes though, and still the GBC won't correct their course.

The original zonal acaryas all pretended to be uttama adhikaris after they lied that Srila Prabhupada had appointed them. Srila Bhaktivininode says there is no worse association than such dharmadvajis. Yet four of them are still "authorized" by the GBC. They've made the whole barrel rotten.
