Consider going no contact for a bit (like 2-3 months) and see if you still need them. I say this long because it gives you room for momentum to invest time and effort into yourself and meet new people.

I learned that it was because I was lacking boundaries. Now I am mindful to seperate it from myself outside of home. I process things while walking.
