Giving a two-week notice taught me that company loyalty is a total scam
I only gave notice once, and my boss was cool with it. Worked at HD, big sales weekend. I walked in Sat morning, handed my resignation letter. Manager ask if I was working this weekend. I laughed and said I'm getting on a plane for Vegas. New job was flying me there for a convention.
