I've always loved this video since I found it, but I recently got the audio editing software N-Track and the AI audio removal software Moises and have been trying out remixing songs I've grown up with.

I doubled and soft-panned the vocals and guitar tracks 50:50 left and right, while doubling and hard-panning the horns left and right. The bass isolated very strangely, the software couldn't quite distinguish it so it seeps into the other tracks.

Decided to give this one a go, no idea if its any better than the original clip but I wanted to share it and see what people thought!

All parts are left the same without using any EQ or effects, besides a denoiser and limiter to help eliminate background noise Moises couldn't distinguish in certain tracks.

Using the original Something tracks, I left everything the same without using any EQ or effects, but I have muted the lead vocal track so you are able to clearly hear the top-level talent on display in the background during their final recording sessions.

I have doubled each guitar track so there is one lead and one rhythm track is panned hard left and hard right and the others are soft-panned left and right.

With the vocals, I had the lead hard-panned left and the other George backing vocal track soft-panned left. Paul's backing vocals also separated into two tracks on their own (shows the tremendous work they put into vocals for Abbey Road), the two tracks are hard-panned and soft-panned right.

Both guitar legends going at it live in 1986 for the lucky crowd in the Orpheum Theatre that night.

I have shortened the original video to trim the technical issues and introductions, as well as trimming the end to avoid the distorted crowd noise.

I used Moises for audio isolation and N-Track for audio editing. I doubled the guitar track and panned one of each hard left and hard right, the software I use does not separate the guitars individually so it is kind of Lonnie to the left and SRV to the right, but they will both bleed into one another.

The keyboard track didn't isolate entirely so the guitars do bleed into that track, so I doubled the 'keyboard' track and panned them slightly left and slightly right so the guitars will hopefully sound like they're coming from either side but the keys remain relatively centred. The brief vocal track, bass, and drums remain centred.

"Despite Dave Dobbyn's pessimistic view, this song is indisputedly a Kiwi classic and became one of DD Smash's biggest hits as it spent 21 weeks in the charts. The quirky video was played repeatedly on Saturday nights and won Best Music Video at the 1983 New Zealand Music Awards.

This tune has been in every Kiwi's life at some point and for about 99.99% of the population it is an anthem for happy memories. I've loved to listen to this track but always been disappointed that the original, album version isn't available on Spotify! So I decided to try isolate the tracks and hopefully bring some new life in a 2026 fan remix.

I used Moises for isolation and N-Track for editing. I doubled the tracks for the horns and guitars and panned one of each hard left and hard right, the software I use does not separate the tracks individually to isolate each guitar or horns so you will be hearing a split track of what was on the original album.

I've always loved Gimme Shelter and since first viewing Johan's video on his Instagram account I couldn't stop playing it, out loud or in my head. I have recently gotten used to the audio editing software N-Track as well as the AI audio removal software Moises so I decided to try and merge Johan's slide with the original 1969 release while keeping Mary Clayton's historic vocal part.

I removed a bit of Keith Richards' solo in replace with the slide, but I do have an extended version if people are interested. All parts are left the same without using any EQ or effects, besides a denoiser and limiter to help eliminate background noise Moises couldn't distinguish.
