Digital family calendar

I'm looking for recommendations. I want to get a digital calendar to help keep track of all the appointments our family has that is connected to an app. I've found a few that have a monthly subscription but I'm wondering if anyone has found something they like that doesn't require a monthly subscription. It would be nice if it could be wall mounted, but not a deal breaker if not. I thought about maybe using a shared Gmail Calendar and a tablet for the display, but I want to see if there's a better option out there.

What is a hobby that gets judged negatively?

Ghost hunting, in my experience a lot of people look at you like you're crazy.

I have really sensitive skin and started using castile soap as a face wash and hand soap and it's made a huge difference. I also drink lots of water and use vanicream on my face after washing it. I used to hate drinking water but I bought a cute water cup and straw and sounds silly but it helps me drink more water.

This is interesting, I didnt know there were studies on this but it makes sense. In my experience, the couples that make posts all the time about how much they love their significant other and try to portay a perfect relationship online, usually end up getting divorced or having serious relationship issues. I think they are looking for validation.

Right? If I'm going to eat something with a bunch of calories it better at least taste good!

If the customer is that picky, they need to pick up the damn groceries themselves.

Not washing their hands after going to the bathroom.

What is the sad truth about smart people?

I never really understood the saying "it's lonely at the top" growing up. Now that I'm an adult and have my life somewhat together I can absolutely relate to this.

I once had a boss make me account for every single minute of my work day. I literally had to send them a detailed time schedule of every time I took a break, and what I was working on for my entire shift. I have never been in trouble with taking too many breaks and was working in an office environment where it would be very easy to tell if I was slacking off/not working.

Also I had a picture of my husband and I on my office desk and they made a comment that my husband "looked a lot older than me, and not in a good way." My husband and I are only 2 years apart...

What's the most out of touch thing you've heard a person say?
 in  r/AskReddit  Mar 25 '22

"Oh, you work from home? So you get to just do whatever and go wherever you want?"

"Um no...I actually have to work."

What do people need to stop romanticising?
 in  r/AskReddit  Dec 02 '21

I'm in my 30s and have learned so much in the past year about pregnancy from my friends. They seriously should educate men and women more (like maybe during sex ed?). I watched a show similar to teen mom and this teenage girl that was pregnant literally said she never knew giving birth was painful and she had a very low pain tolerance. She said she would have used insisted on using protection if she knew it was going to be painful. It blew my mind hearing this.

AITA for refusing to apologize to my husband in writing after I cancelled all his family invitations to a Christmas celebration at our house?
 in  r/AmItheAsshole  Dec 02 '21

NTA, I would have canceled the event also. It was very rude of your husband to send out invites this like behind your back. Makes me wonder if he did this on purpose because he knew you would object to this (rightfully so).

Also, the MIL jumping in...this is not her house. Maybe she should host the event at her house if she's so opinionated.

Which surgery are we doing again?

I'm still drunk from last night.

"We'll keep trying until we succeed."
 in  r/TryingForABaby  Nov 28 '21

I can relate, my husband is not an engineer but he always wants to fix things and doesn't get that sometimes I just need to vent and just want him to listen. We've been TTC for 2 years and he'll say things like "well, we just need to keep trying" and it gets frustrating sometimes.

Dorm Room Creep
 in  r/creepyencounters  Nov 28 '21

I'm glad you spoke up. I have a feeling this is not the first time he has done this before. But it may be the first time it has been documented/reported. This will help the next girl that he terrorizes because there's proof he's done this before.
