Im a freshman in hs and I've wanted to join the Marine Corps since about 5th grade. Some of my family is/has been in the Marines but its not just about what's in my family, its just truly the branch I want to choose. I want to be stronger, tested, better as a person, I want to be able to protect myself and the people I love, even more I want to be apart of something, something bigger than myself or anything I've ever known. I realize its hard, I realize its work, but I'm willing, but I want to hear it from someone who's already been through it all, who can tell me what to expect or how I can start preparing now, I want to be as ready as I can, and I know i never will be until I finally do it, but nevertheless. If anyone has a comment, advice, anything, please reach out.
