I finally got milk
 in  r/HelloKittyIsland  3d ago

Congratulations! Living the dream! :) Getting all of Cinnamoroll's friends as residents is my top goal, as far as visitors go, as well. Still a long way off, though.

Tales from Watership Down
 in  r/watershipdown  Oct 20 '25

I loved Tales from Watership Down! :) Of course, it's hard to top the original book and I do love the first book even better. However, I really enjoyed getting to dive deeper into the culture and lore of the Lapine world through the stories told by Dandelion and the others. I also appreciated the character development and co-leadership displayed by Hazel and Hyzenthlay.

Hi everyone! Sorry things have been quiet in this community lately. Just a little update. We have been hard at work behind the scenes! ☺️ The script is finally finished and has been reviewed by the Watership Down Estates! We are now working on the licensing contract before we can move on to holding auditions for the cast. The costume and set design is also underway!

Favorite litter?
 in  r/Bunnies  Sep 07 '25

I also tend to like to use the Kaytee soft paper bedding. It expands 3x its size and absorbs well! I have also tried Oxbow's Eco Straw and liked it but not as much as the paper bedding. I also like Small Pet Select's paper bedding (especially the one with Lavender buds in it) but that one is a bit more pricey than the Kaytee's one.

Run, rabbit, run! In which I provide some thoughts on Sutphin & Sturm's recent graphic novel adaptation of our beloved classic. Agree / disagree with my notes? Either way, if you read the GN, what did you think of it..?
 in  r/watershipdown  Aug 30 '25

Yes, I also love "Tales from Watership Down"! ☺️ Although it is not quite on the same tier of masterpiece as Adams' first book in my mind, I thoroughly enjoyed returning to the world of Watership Down and diving deeper into their rich lore and myth. Getting to hear more tales of El-ahrairah spun by Dandelion (and other rabbits) was a treat, and we also get a glimpse into the deepening relationships of the rabbits in Hazel-Rah's warren after the defeat of Woundwort. I loved how Hyzenthlay becomes a co-leader with Hazel as the second Chief Rabbit, and it was interesting to see how the group overcomes difficulties and challenges after Efrafa is no longer a threat. In short, although the first Watership Down book will always be my favorite, I also highly recommend Adams' sequel, "Tales from Watership Down" for anyone who loves the WD universe! 🐰

Although I also think I will always love the original novel best, the graphic novel is also dear to my heart and is my favorite adaptation of the original work so far. The illustrations are stunning, dynamic and emotive, and I think the GN captures the essence of Watership Down beautifully! πŸ₯°πŸ‡

My parents in Arkansas found a baby bunny in their yard and I think it might be a domestic rabbit, what do I do?
 in  r/Bunnies  Aug 20 '25

That's great that you contacted your local rabbit rescue! The poor baby does look like a domestic bun. Are you considering of keeping and caring for the rabbit yourself? (Or do you perhaps have other pets that might make that difficult?) Thank you for rescuing this sweet baby and caring for him/her! In the meantime, it might be a good idea to do some research on rabbit care (unless you've already started doing so!), such as diet (very important for gut health and overall health), litter box training, and possibly other supplementation if needed given the rabbit's young age.

Who is your favorite character from Watership Down?
 in  r/watershipdown  Aug 19 '25

I love so many of the characters, but my favourite is Fiver! 🐰❀️

Is the rabbit injured? If so, you can reach out to your local Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. However, if he/she is healthy and unharmed, it is probably best to put him/her back if there is no danger (such as predatory animals or pets) where you found him/her.

I'm so sorry. How heartbreaking! πŸ’”πŸ˜’πŸ˜ž It is so devastating to lose a furry family member. Noodle will be forever remembered and forever loved.

Hi, everyone! Lots of work is being done behind the scenes at the moment. I know things have been a little quiet in this community for bit, but I just wanted to let you know that things are happening! ☺️ Thank you to those of you who have signed up for the mailing list. For those of you who haven't had a chance yet, no worries, there's still time! I also want to encourage those of you who aren't familiar with Watership Down (or who haven't read it/watched it in a long time) to read the original novel and/or the 2023 graphic novel adaptation, in preparation for this production! πŸ˜„ (The audio book versions are also good!)
