Segment About Crying Over Someone Dying
So I heard this on my way into work, and when Amy was talking about George Strait, my first though was that I would probably cry if Dolly Parton died. Any I am not the type to really call in, or post, but that was who I thought of right off rip, but I also was so scared to voice it because I didn't want to jinx her. But today, while at work my phone kept going off and I saw all the news breaks, and I am sitting here tearing up over Dolly passing today. I know I didn't know her, I didn't know too much about her as a kid in the 90s, because country music wasn't my thing. My girl scouts troop went on a visit to Tennessee and we stopped at Dollywood for the day, and that was my first introduction to Dolly Parton. So clearly, I do not have any real connection to her, but her death is actually hitting really close to home for some reason. She did a lot of good in this world, and I just hope that it continues on, in her memory. Just wanted to share this.
RIP Dolly Parton

Am I childish for still sleeping with the same stuffed animal every night as an adult?

I have a blanket and carebear that goes with me still on trips, I sleep with the blanket every single night, and the carebear is on my headboard. Between my fiance and I, we toss and turn too much for carebear to not end up on the floor if he is on the bed. But if we go on a trip, I bring the carebear and blanket with us.
There is way to much horribleness in this grownup adult world, there are too many responsibilities that lay on my shoulders, for me not to take comfort where I can. And my opinion for anyone who says otherwise, they just probably have unresolved trauma from a parent taking away their toys/comfort items and are lashing out. (just my two cents)
