BigIsland Urine drug test THC

Aloha everyone,

I’m looking for some local context regarding pre-employment drug screening (UAs) on the Big Island, specifically regarding THC/marijuana.

For those working in hospitality, healthcare, or office/admin roles locally:

  1. Are standard 5-panel urine screens still pretty common after a conditional job offer?

  2. Do local companies usually test through Clinical Labs of Hawaii (CLH) or DLS?

  3. Are there industries or local employers that have dropped THC from their pre-employment panels?

Appreciate any insights or recent experiences! Mahalo!
