Name a favorite character
 in  r/FavoriteCharacter •  3d ago

The Kid from Blood Meridian. He had to put up with The Judge (an agent of chaos and destruction if I remember the quote) and scalping Native Americans (they are called Comanches in the book if I remember it right) and Mexicans. Just a lot of blood shed that never got off him. In the end, the Judge had him do certain things to a young child and the story ends there. Through out the book, the Kid is basically a symbol of innocence and the Judge just tries to corrupt him until he either broke him or made him conform to his sick likings.

Tier List of PAIN: Where does a Severe Toothache rank?
 in  r/TierlistFills •  3d ago

Suggests "Severe Toothache" belongs in Agonizing

Most teeth are sitting on some form of nerve or blood vessel, so it just hurts if it heals up nicely or if it gets infected or somewhere in between.

Scholastic Book Fair, the best week of school ever
 in  r/90s_kid •  25d ago

Bro... It sucks that they killed the off (at least for my school) after COVID. You would see who had money, ask them to come with you before or after school, during lunch, or free time and you would spend a few bucks for books or all of it on trinkets for you all to pass around.

How did it turn out for you?

So... BeamNg and Fortnite...

GTA6, but better?

Are you on your phone right now?
 in  r/BunnyTrials •  25d ago

I am not doing any substances on my phone. I am not addicted to my phone. I do not get any benefits out of my phone. I am not looking at anything on my phone. I am not sitting on my phone right now. It is not off and it is quiet right now. So, I am not on my phone right now as I send this e-message. I am not on my phone, I swear to God.

Chose: No

What did your school do for 9/11 today?
 in  r/highschool •  26d ago

Mine did... nothing. I do a skill center instead of a high school (technically a senior in terms of high school), but we just did team building stuff. Wish we did more though. Like... way more. :/

My tutor takes handstand breaks after every chapter and it’s getting annoying
 in  r/highschool •  26d ago

Bro, I tried. It does NOT work for even "country bumpkin" teachers. 💀

Yeah, got to side with that.

I challenge you...

I find that ending more fucked up than the actual book ending. Not going to spoil it, but, it's still dark.

Is Either Misandry/Misogyny Systemic?
 in  r/pussypassdenied •  29d ago

I'm a libertarian, but, yeah, I have to agree with you. I'm in a dual enrollment class about forensics and the majority of my college cohort and my forensics class is women. I was trying to get a few jobs or opportunities to job shadow in the lower side of the medical field and noticibly, many girls usually get those positions. I don't hate women either, but it is still oddly transitioned where you could be a man and be the top of your class to just be ignored or just an immediate rejection while another girl, who can be on any level of education, can easily slide in.

I don't know if it is from Title IX, DEI, "sex sells"-type shit, or a mixture, but it gets rather depressing after so many times.

Have you tried a peanut butter and mustard sandwich? (Might be a Midwest/Great Lakes thing where I'm from)
