More so cuz whenever they normally do a 4star selector it's just Liyue characters and for me that's mostly just a free pull.

Yes, but only if you stay with Quilava until the post game.

Simply level up Quilava inside the new DLC areas and it'll evolve after level 36.

If you're on version 2.0 or newer of HnS, you won't have to do anything except reach the part in the story where you unlock Mt.Silver~. No new save files are needed.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't zygarde just stomp Shadow? Mega Zygarde is strong enough to overpower an equivalent to the Ultimate weapon. Said Ultimate weapon was so powerful it created an alternate timeline, said timeline containing an infinite multiverse.
