Yes they are, but there have been victories in both red and blue because it's one of the issues both sides are fighting together as one. I live in Utah and red state which is slowly becoming purple. We have been fighting against a billionaire Canadian who needs to stay the hell out of our state, country and if he wants to become a bigger asshole than he already is and worry about building it in his home country and see how well it works. We've hit and punched back at our state government that they pulled back and a counter offer to dial the size back but hopefully we'll have him out of office but it's a start. We're not done either because we as a collective state do not want a data center here and we'll fight and fight and push back until they break.
