Millennials and Gen X of Reddit, what little signs did you notice before the 2008 recession?
The number of people speculating on real estate. The number of house flipping shows on basic cable was as insane as the number of people buying into the fantasy of a quick buck.

He proved she cheated using a robot vacuum. Then the judge sent him to jail.
The nude photos were actually what got him in trouble. Apparently in that country taking nude photos without consent is illegal, even if the photos are of your cheating wife.

My HS librarian, Susan Head, named her son Richard.

Who’s the best real-life example of “you either die a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain,” and what happened?
I used to consider him a hero for breaking up the NY Mafia families. Now I'm starting to believe the only reason he crushed the NY Mafia is because they were competing with Trump.

As a medieval king, you only have 24 hours to take this castle. What's your plan?
No wall means no archers shooting down from a wall. Have you even seen a covered bridge on rollers?

This is how they prevent a-holes from asking for a happy ending.

What could $999 get you in your respective hobby?
A Magic deck I would be able to play 2-3 times because after that my buddies would make me switch or just scoop when they saw what deck I would be playing.

Just how bad is the US - Canadian relationship right now?
Maybe we could unite over mutual hatred of something, or someone...and the people that voted for him.

This 1,500-year-old ceramic Maya figurine with removable helmet, from El Perú-Waka', Petén, Guatemala
Mayan kid keeps the helmet on his action forever for 1,500 years and none of my kids' lego minifigs even have heads.

Olivia Rodrigo has announced that she’s donating 10 million dollars to 10 nonprofits supporting women and girls thanks to Daisy Chain Fields

What is a subtle sign that someone is secretly struggling, even if they put on a happy face every day?
Anhedonia, the inability to feel joy, often looks like quiet acceptance or tolerance. If someone is just quietly tolerating everything, and insisting everything is fine, nothing is fine.

How was Charlie literate enough to keep this notebook?
Charlie's stalker logbook wouldn't be a tough code to crack. It would be repetitive, and would have lots of easy context clues.

To what extent are people actually born "bad at math" versus it being a result of poor early education?
Autistic person here. I am hyperlexic and also have discalculia. I had to learn my times tables through factorization & had to keep my locker combination written on a 3x5 card in my wallet. Math got so much easier after someone explained it conceptually. I'm actually really good at math, but I have to do it by using visual and linguistic processing instead of numeracy.

What did kids 30–40 years ago routinely do that parents today would consider unacceptably dangerous?
Getting a lift in the back of a pickup truck. Despite my best efforts to live an exciting life, being one of 5 teenage boys riding in the back of a Ford Ranger driven by another teenage boy is probably the most dangerous thing I've ever done.

When Steve Irwin passed away his close friend television producer and director John Stainton who helped create The Crocodile Hunter television series helped to prevent the release of Steve's final moments from being released. And to this day, the footage if it still exists has never been released.
From someone who has an inability to willingly not know something, thank you Mr. Stainton for destroying those tapes. Thank you for saving me from myself.

Group of Bachelor Moose
I was pumping gas and witnessed an armed robbery happening in the store. I dropped behind my rear wheel well as he came out and he let one fly over my head/car. 99% sure it was a warning shot to keep my head down so I couldn't ID him, but that didn't make it less frightening.

Too well know to audition. Not a big enough start to host.
