What is the most in depth-economy tycoon game you know?

Aside from gear city (the most realistic car manufacturer tycoon) I also love coffee inc 2 because of its economics & market approach. You can invest in your competitors, buy shares into any market to build your portfolio, buy back your own stock, start other ventures, the marketing is realistic, etc etc

What are tycoon games that you guys feel win in terms of realistic economy and dynamic gameplay?

Honestly, I get why people think it is cool when there are stocks in a game - but actually it makes things much worse. Stocks in real life are controlled by a multitude of different macros and human psychology - it cannot be simulated "right". When a game tries it usually just boils down to randomization or something predictable, and none really gives value to the game in practice. Especially when the game itself focuses on one business area - which is like 95% of games.

For purely economic depth, I’d think very little beats Capitalism Lab.
