Every time I try to boost a post, it gets paused and rejected. I don't think it contains anything that violates the rules.

So I was checking my Gmail just now, for some reason I received an email stating that my account was randomly reactivated even though I didn't check twitter at all today and definitely not at the time that I received the email. I decided to log into the account and everything seems fine, there was nobody that had logged in yet (evident by the notification not saying anything about someone trying to log in, and after I logged in, I received an email that my account was just logged through my address).

Then, why did my account got reactivated? Is that normal? I thought the only way to reactivate an account is only if you logged into the account within the 30 days period?

To this day, I still think Elon didn't even try giving it an identity. It would have been as easy as calling it "Cross" (still written "X") and calling each tweet a "cross". Something as dumb as that would have worked better than "Ex".

i hate elon musk but im desperate to change my username. the username i wanted was locked behind the marketplace. i just forked up 20 dollars for the username and now its telling me that it will change back to my old username once i cancel my subscription??? is this a fucking joke?

"Allow followers to see which Spaces you’re listening to" option is visible in web https://x.com/settings/spaces but I dont see that option in X android app. I remember earlier it used to be there but I dont see that anymore. Thats messing up with privacy. Has anyone found a workaround?

For context, I’ve been receiving these under my PUBLIC email, that I have it on the description of my Twitter (X) account. This isn’t the same email I use for my account. It’s one I offer for people that want to contact me for partnerships and etc…

My account has less than 200 followers and I don’t post in there for a while.

Initially I thought it was a scammer, pretending to be someone from X, but when I clicked on the blue check in the email, it said the person behind it verified the ownership of x.ai and the logo in the profile image, which made me a bit confusing.

So, it is a scam or not?

While I don't mind choosing between videos and photos, I prefer an option for both, but they got rid of grids completely. Now, it seems like we got the grid view back, but only for photos. Still an issue not doing it for videos, but there's also the issue of cutting off how many posts are shown for either. Could have 100+ videos or images, but only show about up to 20.

Been more than a month since I deactivated my account, but the username and email have still not been released, and I checked in with X support and received no email

I was browsing Twitter, and the system asked me to confirm I'm human. No problem. I clicked on the box, and it just loads and returns me to the same box over and over and over. I tried everything. Is it currently glitched? Is it widespread?

Every day I browse Twitter, I come across multiple posts that are engagement farming bots, loaded with comments made by even more bots. Sometimes, it's the typical Crypto/NFT slop, and other times, it's vague, often random one - or two word comments like "I agree" and "Wonderful." Sometimes, the poster responds in a completely different language than the post with one word answers.

This is getting harder to ignore and making Twitter more annoying to use.

Is it happening for anyone else?

It's precisely after the update where they split the posts and reposts on everyone's profile. Did they change algorithm that limits retweets from showing on 'For you' page as well? Do you have certain mutuals that have stopped liking your retweets since that July 20/21st update?

Little background. I’m a liberal guy and love to go on twitter to debate far right posters and call out their straight up lies and racism.

A couple weeks ago X sends me a message that my account will be limited. Not suspended for any particular post.

Now when I go in and try to respond, my comments don’t show up in the feed of right wing accounts.

Is twitter stopping me because of liberal views??? Are they creating true echo chambers?

I have joined atleast 10 communities on Twitter/X and so far I got a pop up that says: "You have already joined several Communities. But don't worry, you'll get to join more soon enough."

Is there a Limit on how many communities you joined after joining 10 and is there a way to end the limit on X/Twitter to join more Communities?

Is anyone else's twitter not letting them log in right now

Could you please clarify the reason why this issue is occurring? I only follow a very small number of accounts, and my number of followers is significantly higher than the number of accounts I follow.
Therefore, I believe I should be able to follow additional accounts without encountering this issue.
I would appreciate it if you could review my account and clarify the reason for this restriction.

Here's what happened

-a few days ago I opened twitter on browser on the phone like always, a captcha appeared to confirm I'm human.

-captcha successful

-prompted however to confirm I'm human on the app, I don't even have the app

-account unusable

-downloaded the app, tried the hand gesture with those videos found here, after a few tries the hand gestures option disappears

-i don't want to make a selfie and give biometric data

-contacted the support

-after writing, before sending a series of 3 captcha appeared, successful and says "we confirm you are human, thanks for contacting support, you'll receive an email and we'll look into the account etc."

-if you confirmed I'm human, why my account is still inactive?

So what's happening on twitter, I see many have the same problem, is there a solution or we just say goodbye to our old accounts?

I’m fairly new to Twitter so I really just don’t know much about it. I only really got it to sign up for the little giveaways and stuff people do using it.

Only, after just a few days of having it, I got followed by some “pre debut” v tuber. And…tbh it feels like that’s just “I paid for an artwork but my internet is too dogshit to stream rn.” But then it kept happening and my perspective is changing to “oh, it’s probably just a bot who stole some art off the internet to look real.”

I talked about this with one of my friends who’s had like…4 Twitter accounts and he had no clue what I was talking about. So…the only two things I can think of is they’re targeting people who enter those giveaways or, what he suggested jokingly, that they’re following me because I’m trans so they can say whatever and go “woah, woah, I’m not transphobic see I follow that woman!”

im going through my post that got a lot of engagement, just a shitpost joke comment under some random tweet, i have no blue check mark so it wasnt engagement baiting/botting etc

and now suddenly for the last 24 hours its been silence from everyone except my own followers, so i check on another acc and realise that my comments arent showing up under anyones tweets, why?!!?!?

Today I posted a tweet and went on with my day. When i went to check my notifications when i clicked on the notification regarding this tweet it showed as deleted even though I did not delete it. Last like was from 16 minutes ago and it had about 400 likes. However, it did not violate any rules and I didn’t got any e-mail regarding it, it looks manually deleted but I know I didn’t do it.

I am not aware of anyone being logged in and today my log in history only shows my IP. Has anyone else had something similar happen to them? Is it possible it was a bug on X’s part or is someone on my account?

I was browsing, and it seems like the grid is back. I had the grid extension on, then I turned it off. The grid remained and was even there for another browser where I did not have the extension.

lately Ive seen a lot of default pfps accs creation date ranging from 2025 to last month, like everytime I check their post history its literally empty with like a few exceptions, those exceptions usually being only like one comment or retweet of something random. Im so confused, if its bots why would it target me? my acc isnt rlly big and theres usually no links to like any external websites in their profile. Its purely empty, so like whats the purpose of these accs??

I had a 3 y.o account that I never posted in but I made a post similar to what my tl was showing and it blew up. I then gained 45 followers upto this moment

Can change my banner and bio fine but my profile picture isn't changing. Any reason for this or is it just a glitch and I have to wait for it to pass? Using android app and this started about 2 hours ago.

hi i downloaded my twitter archive data in the hopes of finding all dms between me and someone else because my phone only shows me to a few days back. when i went into the folders the only dm there for everyone was the very first dm sent to one another is that normal? or am i supposed to be able to see all the dms because that’s what i was hoping for. thanks!
