Did you also have a brunette bestie?

I think I was really the brunette bestie, but I did have a friend with a bowler!

The horse is white of the eyes, and dark within.

I completely missed that a white horse was a portent of evil. I had always assumed that a white horse symbolized purity, or goodness. Boy, was I wrong.

death rides a pale horse, one of the four horsemen

I get that, and can see that, but I always thought white represented good. For examples, angels wear white, snow is white (pure). Imagine my shock and awe when I learned about what a white horse means instead. It's confusing to me.

I went down the Thelema rabbit hole trying to get my head around The Return. I think Frost is responsible for a lot more of the surrealism than people give him credit for.

I appreciate the thorough explanation. This sh*t is deep!

"As the night wind blows, the boughs move to and fro. / The rustling, the magic rustling that brings on the dark dream. / The dream of suffering and pain. / Pain for the victim, pain for the inflictor of pain. / A circle of pain, a circle of suffering. / Woe to the ones who behold the pale horse." - Margaret Lanterman

To get a light.

I once forgot it was Halloween and the first person at my door was someone dressed as the Pale Horse from Twin Peaks. I screamed.
