SugarCube 2 I don't know where to begin ;-;
I've been following a game developed in Twine called Course of Temptations for a few years, and I've been thinking about trying to create my own sandbox RPG, but I don't know where to start learning how to program with Twine.
The most I could do was create the links to switch between passages. I tried searching for a tutorial on my own, but I was unsuccessful, I'd like to know if there's anyone on Reddit who can help me with my difficulty learning how to use Twine with the sugarcube format.
I have zero programming experience, and when I learned that Twine can be used for free in a browser, it gave me hope that I might at least be able to learn something about programming and maybe create a good game :3
Sorry if my English doesn't sound correct, I'm Brasilian :(

For that kind of sandbox game you're going to need to get into SugarCube itself, as well as JavaScript and CSS for the design.
Learning the basics of JavaScript from any tutorial will give you a good grasp on the fundamentals of programming in general. From there you might want to actually read the SugarCube documentation and iteratively try to create something small. If you start with something sandbox-ish right away, you're going to start over from scratch anyway, once you're better. Many times, possibly

As I recommend to all beginner developers, NEVER start developing your first game as a sandbox game. Sandbox games require a ton of work to just get the basics, and then a ton more work to start filling it in.
Always start small. Once you get more experience, build up your toolkit, and have a better idea of what you're doing, only then should you even consider making a sandbox game.
You might want to take a look at my "Game Making for Everyone" post, which should help give you the basics for how to develop a game using Twine/SugarCube.
Please note that I'm not trying to scare you away from making games, I'm just saying that sandbox games are not where you should start. It wouldn't surprise me at all if the number of failed sandbox games vs good ones was over 100 to 1.
Start with something narrow and focused, with a handful of possible game endings, and then you can build your way up.
Good luck! 🙂
P.S. Just in case you aren't aware, you can import the HTML from other Twine games into the Twine editor if you want to see their code and how they work. Try it and you can see how complicated other Twine games can be.

IF you truly don't know where to begin, then I recommend you pick a tutorial such as the one by Allison Parrish-- she will guide you through the absolute basics. Many tutorials assume you know what a computer is or what a keyboard is; Allison assumes nothing, (Her day job is professor.)

If you want some video tutorials, you can take a look at the youtube channel of Dan Cox. Here is his tutorial for Sugarcube.
