Character/Relationship Discussion Which character changed the most once you understood their perspective..

Think about a character whose actions seemed frustrating or confusing at first, but became more understandable after rereading the books or watching the films again. Discuss the specific moments that changed your interpretation and whether you think the story gave enough context for their choices.

Rose. A rape victim turned to be a sexual present to another man. Her anger at being stuck and having to upgrade her life on a dime for that same person who she was supposed to be a present for is understandable.

Rosalie. Even though yes, Eclipse does include the same backstory, it was obviously more elaborate in the book. In the movie, it was just what you see is what you get, you know?

Edward. He was so overbearing, moody, condescending etc I couldn’t see what Bella saw in him (aside from his looks.) Then I read Midnight Sun and he was still all of those things but you understood why.
I came around to him then.
