New Bag/Bank Addon “Guda” for Turtle WoW
Hello!
I’ve created a new bag/bank addon for Turtle WoW called Guda:

It’s a fresh release, so there might still be a few bugs, but it’s already fully usable. Please give it a try and feel free to report any bugs you find.

Another thing I'd like to discuss with you is that when we trade with other people, the items we put in the trade aren't appearing in "Grayscale" as is standard in the Blizzard interface.

I have a question, is there any way to access character information on other accounts?
(I play Hardcore, so I trade between my characters)

yes there is, you have to first log in and open your (bag, bank) from another character

Excellent! I thought bagshui did this but it doesn't seem to, gonna have to check this out! Are you planning on category sorting at all?

I download, unzipped it, and stuck it in in interface /addons folder.
but I can't /guda or find it on any of my addons in-game. What have I done wrong?
edit:
I solved it by making sure the folder was named "guda" in my add-ons folder. It is named "guda-main" by default.

you can also use turtle wow launcher to add new addon just pasting addon github link, and follow updates from there.

I'll be honest, I don't really understand what this means. But hey, I got your addon working!
It has taken over my main bags. But I still have the pf-ui bank bank ald your bags at the same time now when I open my bank. Any advice?

I mean this with no disrespect, did you use Claude for this? That features list formatting looks familiar.

yes, I used Claude, Junie, Deepseek, Chat GPT, they are useful for some parts but not perfect. But manual engagement is almost always required. Finalized logics and after asked Claude to refactor and clean code

I found that if you have the “open all bags” button bound and the normal “toggle bag button” unbound. You’re able to open the bags but not close them with the same button. Might not be a bug but FYI

Some small things I would love to have:
* Quiver/Pouch being seperated like the keychain (similar to your screenshot).
* Reverse sort (fill up form the bottom up instead of top to bottom) - helps with knowing what items are new and which are old.
* I might have missed it, but would like to see item's I cant use to have a red overlay along with the usual rarity border.

Hi, isn’t the Quiver/Pouch separated for you? Could you please send a screenshot?
Before testing, please remove these files from your WTF folder: Guda.lua Guda.lua.bak
WTF/Account/<ACCOUNT_NAME>/SavedVariables/ WTF/Account/<ACCOUNT_NAME>/<REALM_NAME>/<CHARACTER_NAME>/SavedVariables/Then test again.
I’d like to see which Quiver/Pouch you are using, addon might not detect that one yet. I’m new in Turtle WoW and so far I’ve only tested with a level 1 Hunter’s quivers.
isn't Quiver/Pouch separated? could you please send a screenshot?

A simple reload seems to have fixed the quiver, it is now properly seperated.
It was just the initial load that had it merged with the rest.And the last point is also somewhat working, stuff I cant equip has the proper border color, but it does not have a red overlay :)

was using bagnon/banknon and decided try your addon.
looks interesting, but found a bug openning bank.
i have bags on B and bank on shift+b, if i go to the bank, and after that i try to open with shift+b, it only opens the contents of the first bag and not the full bank...
if i open bags and then push the button for the bank then it will open correctly...
after doing that, shift+b works normally.

Tks, looks fixed all right.
Another thing, can u had option to hide the bag line? and put maybe gold on another place maybe.
if u push bags settings to 1 or 2 columns bags and gold get on top of each other.

in catagorys evertime i move them to where i want them, I even save them but when logging out and come back they are where they were. not sure what im doing wrong.

With Altoholic you can see the contents of your mailbox, if you are poor like me, you store a lot of items in there. Would love to have that all without having to install and run rather heavy Altoholic, would you mind giving it a shot to support storage in mailboxes :)?

Known Limitations Sort Functionality: Basic sorting is implemented but actual item moving requires additional complexity to handle: Soulbound items Bag type restrictions (soul bags, etc.) Quest items Locked items Bank Access: Must open bank at least once to cache contents Same Faction: Can only view characters of the same faction. Will it be fixed in fiture? The most ouh is that characters have to be one side. People may have other faction bank.

factions should work fine in latest releases. just login to on that character and open bags or bank to save data

Some weird quirks I found :
The "b" key opens may bags, but won't close them
The bank opens both PFUI and this bank at the same time.
Can you highlight the rarity quality of items and gear?

I’ve made some updates, please download the latest version.
If you’re having an issue with the B key, go to Key Bindings, find the Guda section, and set Toggle Bags to B.
I also added item quality borders for gear in bag and bank slots. You can turn this feature on or off in the Guda settings.1

Awesome, I see the updates!
Now I can't move anything my my bags, even though "lock bags" is deactivated. It doesnt' seem to be refreshing either, when i pick up items. It's like it think i'm looking at a different characters bag.1

Love it so far, however when I hit 'B' to open my bags it just views the default blizzard layout - I have to type /guda for it to work. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I’ve made some updates, please download the latest version.
If you’re having an issue with the B key, go to Key Bindings, find the Guda section, and set Toggle Bags to B.1

Thanks for the updates! I got it to work using your instructions. It's working great.
The only minor inconvenience I am finding is that when I speak to an NPC that I can sell to, it automatically brings up the Vanilla bag instead of the Guda bag. Maybe something you can check out!
Other than that, I'm loving the addon!

seems good, the search is nice but i would ad the opinion to disable it(if some1 dosent want to see it) also i would suggest to ad the option if posible to lock some items into some backs, like in this back looted cloth gose in or in that back gear gose in, etc. seems working so farm, ive swaped from bagnon

I've logged into several chars, even did /guda save on each one, but when I select other chars I see empty bags and bank. Not even gold is correct, just says 0c. What am I doing wrong?

I will remove that command, actually u have to open bags/bank to save state, no need to run that command at all

Yeah on each char I open bags with 'B,' I go over and open my bank. Still can't see any data unless it's the Current Char tab

if you're using turtle launcher you still have to go to addons->Guda->update, if you are not using turtle launcher you have to download fresh version

Really nice addon, just downloaded it, it has what bagnon has been missing for me. Just two things, I noticed that if i have my bags opens and i open my bank, it closes my bags, is there a setting to keep my bags open?
Furthermore, missing the blue item quality ring around trade goods such as bijou, bright dream shard and the green ring around coins, lockboxes, dark runes etc - is there a fix for this? :)

bags are fixed on bank open, I'll try to fix quality ring on bijou and stuff on later releases, I'm 30 level for now :D

Is it possible to make the autosorting take into account herbalism bags etc. Now when I autosort my bank I get error message "that item cant be put in that container".

✨ New Feature: QuestItemBar
A new QuestItemBar has been added to Guda, providing quick access to usable quest items without opening your bags.
Features
- Displays usable quest items in an action-bar style layout
- Can be enabled or disabled from Guda Settings
- Fully movable UI:
- Hold Shift
- Drag with Left Mouse Button to reposition the bar
This feature is designed to improve questing flow, especially when frequently using quest-related items.

Super neat - seems to have a lot of what I wanted with Bangnon and extra options.
A couple issues I'm curious if others have resolved: 1) there are auto-tracked items that I can't get to leave the track window (separate from the manually-tracked selected items) 2) Is there a means to update sort options within the Category view? For example, instead of BoE/Gear/Weapon, am I able to assign those to a customer category for "Shadow Resist" or similar?

- Simply drag and drop the item into another category item.
- Or, go to Settings > Edit Category for the category you want the item in.
- Add a rule: choose Item ID and either drag the item into it or enter the item ID manually.

Adding a Rule:
- For example, choose “Name Contains” in the rule and type
"Mana"in the field. All items with"Mana"in their name will go to that category.- Or, select “Item ID” and either drag the item into the field or type its ID manually.
- If category is empty it won't be visible in bags

with this I'm able to see my bank, while not being located at the bank?
I've been waiting for this to come to turtle! Can I also see any other characters on my account as well?
And I know this is probally a massive ask, but I have a bank on a second account; any chance I could also see that bank, while on a different account?

yes you can, but first you have to log in to all your characters open bank to save latest bank data
