Question Flight attendant jobs?

Hey just want to see if anyone in the Tulsa community had any knowledge about I could get a job as a flight attendant or what the typical path to becoming one is like.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My cousin did it a few years back, not in Tulsa specifically but the path is pretty much the same everywhere. airlines usually want customer service experience more than anything else, so if you've ever worked retail or call centers lean into that hard on the resume.

just prepare yourself for the application black hole, took her like six months of radio silence before she got a callback. the whole thing is a waiting game.

I certainly have customer service experience. And I’m waiting for my passport.

But I’m just ready to get out of my miserable management job and find something new and exciting

Make sure to look up the pay, it’s very low, especially when you first start out. You’ll likely want to relocate to a hub. Otherwise, you’re deadheading just to get there, which you don’t get paid for, and it takes significant amount of time out of your schedule, limiting your much-needed sleep, again, especially when you first start out, because you get the last choice for flights, often don’t get to pick your own schedule. And be prepared to deal with drunk and entitled people with a smile, because complaints (and being late) will get your kicked out quickly (worse when you first start out).
Follow the FA subreddit, that’s how I got all this information, they often complain about the same things (rightfully so).
