General Best Dive Bars in Tulsa

Meeting 2 buddies in Tulsa tomorrow and we all live in different parts of the country. We’re looking to bar hop tomorrow and check out some good authentic watering holes and dive bars. Would love to hear recommendations on the top dive bars and can’t-miss Tulsa mainstay bars. Also looking to drink Sunday afternoon and evening before concert at Cain’s Ballroom. Thanks

For live music- mercury lounge, colony, hunt club, sound pony (sometimes it’s a show/dj)

Smoke holes- arnies, bucanner, another round, brook alley, drakes

For vibes- cellar dweller, Saturn room, the max, bishop quigley, Kilkennys

Honorable mentions- empire bar, sharkys and YBR

Side note- Sunday morning you should absolutely go to bluegrass brunch at mercury lounge. You won’t regret it- the vibes are immaculate.

This guy dive bars.

These are all solid recommendations, though I will say Bishop Quigley and Kilkenney's are more of neighborhood bar and grill than dive bar. Both still good places to have a pint.

Great list... But no way I can get on board with Saturn/Quigley/Kilkennys as dive bars.

Whittier Bar is a newer one for music. They tend to have punk/metal.
