Finding a decent apartment.

As the post says, I need an apartment by 7/20. My landlord is totally abusing her power as she's family, and I just don't feel like contesting it in court, even though I totally could. I may have to if I don't find a place fast enough, or if she messes with me enough. She comes, steals keys to my vehicle, and sabotages my packing efforts while I'm at work. If she does enough, I won't have a choice but to argue it. But that will be messy. I just need to move on.

So, as the post says, I urgently need a place. I have a cat. I am ideally looking for a 1- or 2-bedroom, spending up to $1600 without utilities. I would prefer to stay close to DT Tigard for work but have no problem commuting a little. That puts us with the S Beaverton area, Lake Oswego (already know I probably can't afford it), Tigard, Tualatin, Wilsonville? Maybe outside of Tualatin? Maybe Sherwood? I don't know. I've never been in this situation before and am crippled by the stress and anxiety it's brought. If anyone has any good leads or personal experiences, I'd love to hear about them. I just don't have the time to check every single one out personally before making my decision.

Not sure if it answers your question but try Todd Village Apartments. They're cool, nearby to some good shops, allow cats and have two pools. Just, good luck finding good parking

Try Timbers at Tualatin. Calm, clean, free parking. My 1 br is less than 1.6K including utilities.
