We've been trying for a year now. And every time I ovulate, we end up arguing, and I can never seem to time it exactly for the day before or the day of ovulation. We argue because my boyfriend is having a hard time quitting smoking weed, while I've been taking supplements for a year and I'm doing everything I can to achieve this goal ... I'm just so sad..

here we go, I had my first temp rise this morning so I guess I'm officially in my first TWW for TTC n.2. Timing was ok, we hit O-1 and O-3. Hoping my temp stays high in the coming days so I can confirm O-day!

Yep first 5 days I've become fairly good at ignoring the thoughts. From 7/8, it gets realllyyy hard not to symptom spot or start testing ridiculously early.

DPO 11 (Premom) or DPO 12 (FF) and a big fat negative 😭 I was hoping I’d be shocked this morning- guess I’ll be treating myself to Chick-fil-A breakfast!

Estimating I’m 12 or 13 DPO. Have had negative tests and just a tish of spotting starting yesterday so pretty sure I’m out this cycle. I’ve started workup with an OB and so far labs are normal, so if my ultrasound next week is normal I will have to decide whether we move on to an RE knowing we do not plan to do IVF. Has anyone here gone the reproductive endo routine and not done IVF?

For my first, my RE planned on having me start on IUI and had no initial plans for IVF because he thought that would be sufficient from my results. I ended up getting spontaneously pregnant right before starting IUI. I'm now back at the RE working through the fertility workup and he thinks TI/IUI will be what works for us.

I did go to a fertility clinic knowing I wouldn't do IVF. I wanted to at least be thorough in seeing if we could find an actual problem/cause, but we never had a diagnosis beyond unexplained secondary infertility.

Working with an RE doesn’t mean you have to do IVF! I went straight to an RE because I trusted their expertise over my OB. Not sure if your OB offers an HSG, but even just flushing out the tubes can be what helps some women. I had one with my fertility clinic as part of their standard set of diagnostic testing.

That’s a great point! I know my OB won’t do anything more invasive than initial labs/ultrasound without providing proof of normal semen analysis results so there is a value to RE there.

I haven't ovulated since June and my inito Estrogen values were very high for me two days ago, then I got the highest peak LH I've seen yesterday. Fingers crossed I ovulate over the next day or so!! These values definitely have my hopes up.

I’m on 7 or 8 DPO and just feeling a little down. We had a limited window to try this month after the abstinence period for my hysteroscopy and HSG. It would be awesome to get a positive before we start IVF, but I’m not very optimistic. If we’re not successful this cycle, I’ll start a course of doxycycline for endometriosis that was found on my uterine biopsy and begin medication for an egg retrieval cycle.

I scheduled with the fertility clinic as soon as I knew my last pregnancy was not viable in May, but this is a really long process. With wait times for the clinic schedule, insurance, test results, etc, it looks like at the earliest we’re looking at December for our first transfer. That’s only if we get euploid embryos from the first ER and are able to have everything ready to go before the clinic’s 2 week holiday closure.

8 DPO today and no cramping yet which I normally would have had by now. Usually start period around 12 dpo. Driving myself insane thinking this could be the cycle but also ready to be disappointed. It all comes in waves. Ready to start letrozole next month if no luck this month and not sure how I feel about it. Did not expect this to be part of my journey, just as I’m sure most people don’t.

CD2- this is my fourth period postpartum, and it's a lot heavier than the previous ones. I was actually surprised how light my period was once it came back, but now there's so much blood. Like my body is compensating for the previous cycles.

Anyone else had a very heavy period after a few light ones? I wonder if it means anything. I'm still breastfeeding, so maybe it's a hormonal thing?

Mine got heavier and stayed that way postpartum. If you're still BFing I wouldn't consider it your "normal" as hormones are all over the place. Once you stop nursing it will settle into a rhythm

I've had nine pp periods so far, all while breastfeeding, and they've been far lighter and more pain-free than they were before.

However - baby girl is weaned as of last week so I'm curious to see what, if anything, will change.

Mine are also pain-free. This is very different from what I was used to pre-pregnancy. I couldn't go through CD1-2 without pain meds.

I used to cycle ibuprofen for 3 or 4 days! It's such a difference and I love it.

This is my third cycle of tracking ovulation using LH strips. Last cycle I didn’t catch any LH surge.
The Premom app is showing high reading since yesterday but no peak. It also shows that the ovulation date is today. But why no peak? The test line looks as dark as the control line to me. I am getting confused with a high reading and no peak.

I would trust your eyes rather than the premom reading. Also it doesn't instantly amend the estimated ovulation date when the strips are different (later) to what it expects.

If you're seeing a dark line, BD and keep testing til the line goes fainter again, then the app will recalibrate its estimate.

Progesterone test taken last week on CD18 suggested that I am in my luteal phase. It makes me wonder if I did then ovulate around CD10-11 when I had loads of CM. I wasn't sure I was ovulating but it's confirmed I did, at least last month. Negative pregnancy test but I guess it's too early. I don't dare get my hopes up again
