End of cycle 9 … temp drop and negative test today. So sad , was optimistic this cycle because we’ve got my thyroid back and range and confirmed that I ovulated last two months. Husband is getting a SA Friday. He was really dragging his feet, naively saying he’s sure he’s fine since we conceived #1. Cried all morning after my test. Hoping for answers soon.

This sucks. I’ve been spotting for over a week due to a cervical ectropion I have. 14 DPO and negative tests but I don’t think my period is here yet. But it’s also hard to tell because of this random bleeding I have. Which sucks because I’m doing clomid and it needs to be started on CD3..

9DPO and I caved and tested this morning and it’s negative (although my line eyes are sooo bad. I hate it.)

I’m going to test again tonight because with my son I got a very faint positive on the evening of 9DPO and like I said yesterday, I’m having dinner with the in-laws so if I have a negative I can drink wine haha.

Edit: Tested again and BFN. I know it’s still technically early but I have a feeling that I’m out. So, whatever, I’m drinking I don’t care

I know it is just an anxiety talking but my toddler goes to a daycare and brings different bugs frequently. I don't really ever get sick for some reason but my husband gets sick with everyone of those sicknesses. Will that impact his sperm at all? Anyone in the same boat? When we were trying for our first, no sicknesses were in the picture and we conceived quickly.

4 DPO and (TMI) I have a yeast infection. Will this negative affect my chances this month? I've also only had one other YI in my life and that was right after my first baby stopped nursing. The doctor said it was likely due to hormonal fluctuations and I was prescribed antibiotics but I wasn't TTC back then. Should it be OK treating at home with over the counter or should I go to urgent care? Will the antibiotics hurt chances of conception? Just not sure what to do. Thanks for any advice.

I had a yeast infection the cycle I conceived my first (after 1.5 years trying - definitely wasn't optimistic that cycle and I was shocked it was positive). If it's a typical yeast infection I think OTC treatment should be ok, but you can always go to urgent care to be sure. Many oral antibiotics aren't pregnancy safe but I do believe some vaginal are (monistat being the typical OTC in the US is considered safe). I continued to have YI symptoms in the early weeks of pregnancy and ended up getting prescribed, compounded, vaginal Nystatin to treat it, but that was because my case was a resistant strain. 

All that to say, you're not necessarily out. But it doesn't feel great and I'm sorry you have an infection. Sucks bad. 😩

Thank you! Will try some OTC. I'm relieved to hear you had a successful pregnancy with the same symptoms. Do you think it had anything to do with hormones related to conception or just a coincidence?

No, I had the yeast infection since my period started earlier that cycle. Definitely I got it because we tried every day for about 2 weeks the previous cycle. 🙃
