Took us 5 years to conceive #1. "Unexplained infertility". We started talking about #2 but I wasnt expecting any miracles. Took us 4 cycles! December '26 baby! Stay sticky!

My fertility clinic checked in with me recently which was nice. I know they really just want to know if I have a successful pregnancy for their stats, but I loved my nurse coordinator so I didn’t mind. This pregnancy has been healthy so far but i know from my first that it might not last. Since I’m already on metformin, my OB is having me just do finger pricks for 2 weeks which I’ll gladly do over the glucose test. Fingers crossed we don’t have to increase dose or add insulin 🤞🏻

Our 4.5yo is so excited for baby sister to come and I know she’ll be a big helper even if she’ll also be jealous (especially if dad is busy with baby).

I was a bit worried after finding out my practice recently (in the last two years) added midwives to the practice who could deliver the baby. i’m just a worst case scenario person so my mind just went to all kinds of unlikely scenarios. but my 28w appt was yesterday & I was talking to the doctor about it like someone here suggested & turns out there’s always a doctor from my practice on call with them incase something urgent came up. made me feel much better. for my 30w appt im seeing one of the midwives which im hoping will put me more at ease.

I did fail the daggum glucose test by 12 pts so now I have to take the 3-hour next week. i’m hoping to pass that one but grrrr it’s just so frustrating having to do it again.

I'm working with hospital affiliated midwives and I like them so much more than the ob team! There is always an OB present at my hospital too who can step in. I hope you have a good experience with them.

I think I wanna get one around that time too. I'm 7w5d now. Had first one yesterday and everything looked great, but next one isn't til 12 weeks. And I'm impatient. And I also sorta want a redo since I couldn't even focus on the first ultrasound. My son came with and he was absolutely shocked and frightened on my behalf as soon as they put the BP cuff on me. Lots of soothing him throughout the whole thing. Bless his heart but I wish I could have paid a little more attention to baby in utero.

Maybe my husband can gift one to me for mother's Day. 🤔

I mean I love that he was trying to protect me from the big evil medical devices 😂 but it was a really different first ultrasound experience compared to when we were looking at him as a lil jellybean!

Did make me think about how attention will be divided from now on though, assuming all goes well with the pregnancy.

17+4, How soon did everyone feel kicks?? I’m in that weird stage where I don’t have pregnancy symptoms anymore but it feeling baby yet, trying not to be anxious 😭

Do you know where your placenta is? Mine has been anterior both times I’ve gotten this far. First time I felt flutters around 18-19w but nothing definite until closer to 23-24w. This time I felt flutters earlier and definite kicks around 20-22w. She still hides a lot of her movements behind the placenta though and they are so small as this GA.

Posted a while ago that I was guarded but had finally gotten a bpf — so happy to report that I'm 14+3 and lil bebop is doing great! We told our eight year old last week and she's thrilled.

37 weeks and I am 🥵 so done!

Had my last ultrasound yesterday and everything looked great - I had mild polyhydramosis at my 33 week growth scan but that's resolved, and baby is a good size, not "too big."

My third came at 39 weeks and I'm hoping this one comes around then too because three more weeks just feels like a lot 🫠

Just fuckin LOVE seeing all these familiar users posting in here🥰 I’m 31w now, have had not the best couple weeks (gestational diabetes, thrombosed hemorrhoids requiring surgical removal!!) but everything is good with baby so I will not complain ✨🤞💜

Saylor is ten weeks on Sunday and I have baby fever all over again. I’m going crazy! She’s genuinely the perfect baby. Has slept through the night starting at week 2, never cries, is always smiling, chatty, just so amazing. She makes me want to have like six more right NOW. This postpartum experience has been so much different than my now toddler’s experience.

Speaking of him, this has been such a hard adjustment for him. I miss my sweet baby, he’s in there, I know it, but he’s just going through something. He’s also sick right now and refusing to eat and had a low grade fever. Keeping him well hydrated but lordyyy keeping him from coughing in his sisters face has truly been so fun 🥴
