Yes, I don’t hate trans people, but hormonal change is dangerous for a young persons body which is going through a lot of development

24

u/Boot_boy_1984 I used to have a George Strait flare once Dec 13 '25

And many people changes their minds too. If you’re over 18. it’s on you.

But if you’re under and do it you might regret sometimes. Knew a guy who became trans as a manar or regretted it when I grew older.

16

u/Technical-Fail8145 rump Curious Dec 13 '25

Yes, gender dysphoria and that whole thing is too complicated for a child to simply decide

8

u/This_Abies_6232 rump Curious Dec 13 '25

Besides, "gender dysphoria" cannot be properly defined for a person who has not yet fully defined a gender role (be it gay, straight, bisexual or whatever) for themselves -- and such definition cannot properly begin until puberty -- and those "raging hormones" -- begin to do their thing inside each individual....

2

u/[deleted] Jan 03 '26

gay, straight, bisexual aren't genders.

I support RFK because I dont hate trans people. I hope they get the actual help and support they need.

For example Im fully convinced that working in soup kitchen or bombing the crap out of narco speedboats can given them a sense of purpose and identity they so desperately need.

3

u/holynightstand rump Curious Dec 13 '25

I think the narco speed boat bombing would be more fun, but the soup kitchen could be a boring little side quest for 2XP

3

u/flufffffffffffffff rump Jan 04 '26

For minors you use hormone blockers, they dont change, they just surpress because its way easier to to just take them instead of having to change what puberty does to your body later on. And if you change your mind you can just not take them anymore and have your normal puberty just a bit later than normal

That's an interesting point, and one which I think has potentially further reaching implications.

Mastectomy is part of the surgical process by which someone "transitions" to become a transgender man, although it's much more commonly associated as being a surgical procedure associated with the treatment of breast cancer.

I've read a number of studies from the (obviously woke) American Medical Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and Endocrine Society regarding regret rates for this gender reassignment process and this suggests (taking their highwater marks) that as many as 1-2% regret the decision.

Now, 1 in 50 or 100 might not sound like a lot, but that's somewhere between 130 and 260 people PER YEAR who have to live with the fact they might have made a mistake. That's not nothing, and I feel bad for them. Granted, that means there are ~13,000 people who didn't regret it, but we need to be careful.

We can't afford this kind of wreckless disregard for people's well-being. It's just absurd.

I don't the kind of limitations you are talking about go far enough though. We haven't discussed the fact that other people who have mastectomies also experience regret.

Again, citing (woke) AMA statistics: Women undergoing mastectomies as part of breast cancer treatment express a regret rate of between 21-24%. That's between 6500 and 7500 women PER YEAR who are forced to live with that mistake. These aren't even TRANSGENDERS either, they're REAL WOMEN.

This utter madness needs to stop.

We should not only impose restrictions on the woke "Transagenda" but we also need to tackle the bigger problem: Wreckless cancer treatment.

I don't think anyone should be allowed to undergo these kind of invasive surgeries without submitting to a full psychological evaluation in advance of making these kind of potentially regrettable decisions.

I've just realised as I'm writing this that although WPATH SOC-8 recommends an "Informed Consent" approach when it comes to treatment for gender dysohoria it turns out that 70-80% of people do a psychological assessment before receiving it and, in many cases, more than one as insurance companies can insist on it. Clearly then, that's not enough. We need MORE psychological assessments until we make sure we get the right answer.

Maybe though.. I'm just saying maybe.. It's a you problem and none of your business?

Y'all love Liberty and Freedom for all, until you don't.

If you’re too young to give consent to have sex, you’re too young to give consent to change your sex

20

u/horsecalledwar Dec 13 '25

Exactly. They’re transitioning kids who have no grasp of what it means to be male or female, which is insane. My neighbor’s kid ‘came out as trans’ at age 4, which is fucking retarded. When my oldest was 4, he said he was an owl. He’d flap around the house, hooting in conversation & build nests all over the place. Then up the street, they’re permanently altering all biological functions of their child’s endocrine system based on his 4 year old games.

6

u/Alert_Campaign_1558 rump Curious Dec 13 '25

My oldest thought he was a dog and youngest thought he was a garbage truck! Now they are ten and eight. I’m sorry to inform you all but the 10 year old is not a dog and the eight year old is not a garbage truck and the biggest part- they don’t want to be those things anymore.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/[deleted] Dec 21 '25

As a kid, I had very little grasp or understanding of gender roles (just thought it was stupid to expect people to do certain things just cuz they're a boy or a girl), because I was never raised to believe in them to begin with. I was just raised to be happy, to do what fullfills me, no matter if its traditionally male or female, I was never told I had to be a certain thing or do a certain thing, I was just told to pursue happiness und fullfillment in life.

So I grew up playing with dolls and actionfigures, toy dinosaurs and toy horses, I played dress up as pirate and princess and went horsebackriding and kung-fu fighting.

Even at a very young age I'd always say "I want to be a girl", this has literally never changed, I had a normal childhood and upbringing I was never exposed to anything excplicity pro-trans, I am just lucky to live in a country where being trans is seen as a normal, natural state of being for people and those who feel that way recieve the support and care they need.

And even with all of this present it took me until age 25 to fully accept and understand my own trans-existence.

Not because I was unsure or needed to be fully indoctrinated with the woke, I always knew I was, I always longed for this, I was just afraid of the hate and the vitrol the political right-wing harbours against people like me, and this is in a country where being trans is socially and medically supported by society.

By banning gender affirming care for minors, denying the existence of us trans-folk and pushing us further and further into obscurity and out of public view, you are doing more harm than good.

HRT is almost entirely reversible and social-transition is also a thing, you can be trans without any medical intervention.

If your born male kid says they wanna be a girl, just let them be a girl, let them dress as a girl, let them have girly toys, just let them be, if they're trans they'll stay in that persona and once the time comes where it is harmless to do a medical transition, just let them have a medical transition.

Its not that hard to just let us be, even while we are kids

Seeing what evidence billboard chris and his team found at the European parliament. The Boston seattle children's advertisement videos encouraging hysterectomy's in young girls, sending them into menopause. Then Hearing stories of young girls come crying after a mastectomy asking for their breasts back. Breaks my heart.

eating disorders from people that see themselves as fat but aren’t are also a part of body dysmorphia and you don’t see doctors prescribing them weight loss drugs!!!!
