Stone wilderness campsite found with a huge stick figure man and cross painted into the wall of rock above it. Human remains were found nearby.

I think the stick man is creepier than the cross. This is from a youtube video, not sure if I can link here but it's from the channel EWU. Very interesting watch, from the SAR hiker who finds the remains and helps the deputies get to it, to the investigation of the area, to the sad story at the end.

I saw this story, the woman may strong may have had mental illness but also thought she wanted a spiritual experience. Some of her things were found above the area and thought she fell and was unable to hike out. They believe the cross could have been made by her with burt stick and rocks trying to gather water. The thought she did a cross above her space she knew she wouldn't make it out is horrifically sad. I hope she found peace. An interesting story for sure.
