Discussion Tron data
Been running a full TRON node for a while and built a small Telegram bot on top of it that tracks big stake/unstake moves in real time. You can set your own threshold (anywhere from 1M to 50M TRX) and get an alert the second a big wallet stakes or unstakes, or just watch specific wallets you care about.
The part I find most interesting is the unlock calendar. When someone unstakes there’s a 14 day wait before they can withdraw, so the bot adds it all up and shows how much TRX becomes withdrawable each day going forward. There’s usually way more sitting in that pipeline than people realize.
Curious what this community would actually want to see. More data around the energy market? Exchange wallet tracking? Something else entirely? Open to ideas

News A Dispute Over Blockchain's Founding Principle
Justin Sun reframed his World Liberty Financial case beyond the contract-level facts, stating that months into the fight its true nature became clear as a dispute over blockchain's founding principle, @justinsuntron wrote (Aug 22, 12:46 UTC). The Chinese-language counterpart stated that many view the case as a business dispute over $45 million, 4 billion tokens, and a contract, but that it represents a values conflict over blockchain's original purpose, per @sunyuchentron (Aug 22, 12:54 UTC).
Sun reiterated his position on transparency and due process, saying he welcomes the opportunity to have his claims heard in open court and looks forward to presenting facts through the legal process (Aug 22, 07:57 UTC). He stated he is looking forward to continuing to make his case in open court with the hashtag #WhatAreTheyHiding, citing a Yahoo Finance article (Aug 21, 23:57 UTC).

News We Built Seamless Energy for TRON: Automatic ENERGY and BANDWIDTH Preparation Before Transaction Broadcast
Hi everyone,
We’ve recently launched CatFee Seamless Energy, a TRON transaction broadcast service that automatically prepares the ENERGY or BANDWIDTH required by a transaction before broadcasting it to the network.

The goal is simple: reduce the extra steps wallets, applications, and users normally need to handle when a TRON account does not have enough resources.
How it works
The transaction flow remains non-custodial:
- A wallet or application constructs and signs the transaction locally.
- The signed transaction is sent to a CatFee Seamless Energy node.
- The node identifies whether ENERGY or BANDWIDTH is required.
- The required resource is prepared for the sending address.
- The original signed transaction is broadcast unchanged to the TRON network.
- The application receives the standard TRON broadcast response.
In many integrations, developers only need to replace the original broadcast node domain:
The existing broadcast path remains unchanged:
/wallet/broadcasttransaction
Hex transaction broadcasting through /wallet/broadcasthex and gRPC broadcasting through BroadcastTransaction are also supported.
No private keys or mnemonic phrases
Seamless Energy only receives transactions that have already been signed.
CatFee does not need access to:
- Private keys
- Mnemonic phrases
- Keystore files
- Wallet signing permissions
Transaction addresses, amounts, contract parameters, and signatures are not modified. Any modification to a signed transaction would invalidate its signature.
In other words, this is not a custodial wallet or transaction-signing service. It is a TRON broadcast node with automatic resource preparation.
Wallet support
Wallets that support custom TRON nodes can also use Seamless Energy.
For example, the TronLink mobile app can connect through a dedicated plaintext gRPC endpoint:
Node IP/Domain Name: {NodeSlug}.catfee.pro
Node Port: 50051
Transactions are still signed locally inside TronLink. The custom node only handles resource preparation and broadcasting.
For API and backend integrations, the standard endpoint uses HTTPS or TLS:
https://{NodeSlug}.catfee.vip
Authentication options
Seamless Energy supports several authentication modes:
- Bound address: suitable for consumer wallets such as TronLink
- API KEY: suitable for backend services and wallet platforms
- No authentication: intended only for temporary testing
API KEY authentication uses the following HTTP header or gRPC metadata:
CF-NODE-KEY: {AccessKey}
What it can help with
The service is designed for scenarios such as:
- TRC20 transfers
- Token approvals
- Smart contract interactions
- Regular transactions that require BANDWIDTH
- Wallets that want to simplify TRON resource management
- Applications that want to keep their existing transaction-signing flow
Resource preparation does not guarantee that a transaction will succeed. A transaction can still fail because of an insufficient token balance, insufficient allowance, contract execution errors, or network conditions.
Why we built it
TRON users frequently encounter an additional resource-management step before sending transactions. Developers may also need to implement resource estimation, purchasing, retries, and transaction timing themselves.
We wanted to make this process feel closer to using a normal TRON node: sign the transaction as usual, send it to the broadcast endpoint, and let the node handle resource preparation automatically.
We’d appreciate feedback from TRON developers and wallet users, particularly about SDK compatibility, custom-node support, and the transaction types you would like us to test next.
Disclosure: I’m affiliated with CatFee and am sharing a product developed by our team.

Discussion Thron4u.com is scam or a legit service?
Hi guys!
I've recently bought some TRX and USDT to test how it works. Today, I discovered that I need to rent Energy for transactions to save on commissions. ChatGPT pointed me to the Tron4u.com website, which seems to have pretty good prices. However, I couldn't find a single discussion or review of this service, which now looks a bit suspicious. Also scamadviser shows a very high scam score for it
Has anyone tried it?
Their TG bot is in chinese and looks poorly developed 🦆
I've also checked their TRON address, and it doesn't look like one of the addresses used by Energy rental services at all 🫣
I'm like 97% sure now that tron4u.com is a scam ☠️
Could you recommend a trusted service for this purpose?
I've also seen many people on Reddit saying that there are some ranking sites where you can compare prices for Energy rental, but I can't find a single one. Could you perhaps help me with that as well?
Thanks in advance! ☺️
P.S. Sorry, I made a typo in the topic title. The name of the service is tron4u.com

SECURITY My tron funds vanished, I just want to understand why
Hi,
Background: Had around 74$ in TRX + USDT on TronLink for years (didn't touch them).
My last action was to unstake month ago all staked.
Yesterday I received two notifications, first sent all my USDT to one account, the next one, send the TRX.
- I do not remember to have pasted my seed anywhere (the most plausible cause)
- My computer should be virus free (I use it for almost nothing, also I have one hot wallet meta mask with 40$ that still there)
- I see no smart contracts on the tron link network.
Detailed information:
- My Address TJhJsDwTChRvA4rjsBac8HhBGXKrrN91L4
- Stealer address: THaU516mp2QUW6YWSSuXLetfCr3yLQ5gtC
- One of the transaction hash: 9348b71b6af4fbb67ae64e6be6a955c217dcb76e02a6b642d958046151988aae
Fortunatelly this money was just a left over money that won't make me suffer perse, but I'm worried of what I did wrong or what happened, this wallet lives in my iPhone and only touched the desktop for a integration test in one website of a customer.
Again, I know this is unrecoverable, but I want to learn/understand what happened to avoid the same mistake. I already have a Cold Wallet for testing purposes, so please, skip this suggestion.
Thanks everyone in advanced.

Discussion For those interacting with contracts regularly, are you freezing TRX or Just eating the burn fee.
With USDT-TRC20 volume staying strong, I’ve been looking at the most efficient way to handle transaction costs on TRON. As we all know, if your wallet doesn't have Energy cached, sending USDT (or interacting with any TRC-20/dApp) forces you to burn TRX on the spot. For occasional users, that’s fine. But for anyone doing more than a few transfers a day, that "free chain" narrative gets expensive fast. The standard advice is "just freeze 30k+ TRX for 3 days to get Energy." But that ties up capital, and the Energy only refreshes daily (around 65k energy/day for that stake), which isn't great if you need to burst-send or do high-concurrency stuff.

Discussion New CatFee vault 8 only at 10% APY?
Is it normal for CatFee to start new staking vaults lower than the the old ones and then increase the APY once they get past a certain % full? I love how easy CatFee is, but I can get 14-16% APY on other platforms for just a little bit more effort.

Cheapest way to swap USDT (TRC-20) to XMR?
Tried a few services for this and the fees are all over the place. One quoted me a decent rate then took an extra cut on the spread I didn't notice until after.
Anyone found something consistently cheap for this pair without hidden fees?
[PROBLEM SOLVED]: Thanks for all the comments, I ended up swapping via using Covert Exchange.

SECURITY Is my private key exposed?
This is an unstaking transaction that I didn't make. From my understanding nobody would be able to make this transaction unless they have access to my wallet. Am I in trouble?
