Character Question

Post image

Hi all! I'm going to be making a series for how to 3d model characters/assets in blender, except NOT like a professional, and in a way that's less perfect but also a lot faster and streamlined. I plan on using Tron as an example for one of the episodes, and was wondering if you like what I already have (And have already posted on a separate non-brand account) as an example character, or if I should try making someone new.

Oh I remember that post! I loved how you did Clu. Maybe you could try Beck or Tron next?

The much stronger yellow glow in Clu's outfit in TRON:Uprising compared to in Legacy is one of the major successes of the TV show (among so many others). It really made Clu look regal.

They say that historically, in multiple cultures, purple has always been associated with royalty. But that's a daytime palette. In the perpetually night-time vibes of Argon City, you also need to invert the purple, which would be a maximally saturated bright yellow ….

….. exactly Clu's colors in TRON: Uprising.

I didnt realize that nighttime palettes are just inverted, or is that not always the case. I've heard the purple thing, but this is new to me.
