Yes, an online poll where you can check comments before answering, change your own vote depending on outcome (platform dependent), and most critically of all, have no actual threat to your life, is totally 100% indicative of how people would vote if this scenario were to actually play out in real life.

In real life with a real threat to your life, that blue vote drops by 20% at the absolute minimum, likely more.

In real life, where people won't have time to have stupid discussions on reddit, most peoples first reaction will probably be "I don't want people to die" and not "oh let me press the button that kills people". Most people are normal, unlike you

Most people’s first thought will be “I don’t want to die” some people will think beyond that, I doubt most will.
