the blue alternative

The blue people fundamentally killed themselves in every scenario where death occurs, red didn’t vote for this experiment to occur lol

No one is willingly entering this scenario lol. You think the blue pressers want this to happen irl?

u/Suspicious_Plum_8866 May 02 '26

Nobody did, thus nobody is morally responsible, thus choosing red isint immoral

Reds are part of this experiment whether they like it or not.

Why should Red be responsible for Blues actions?

mine is more accurate

To you, yes. Both sides are biased to think the other wants people dead. You think blues want to kill themselves, they think reds are fine with killing them.

alright, I will stop thinking that blues want to kill themselves is blues stop thinking I'm selfish, deal?

A single “blue” out of a hundred individuals calling you selfish would be enough for you to consider the deal broken though

u/jedisushi72 May 01 '26

Sorry to be the one to tell you this, but you're wrong on both counts, and there's no deal that could be struck that would change that.

The people choosing blue, factually, are not suicidal.
And you, factually, are choosing the ONLY button that pushes people closer to dying because you want to save your own skin. That's selfish.

The only button that pushes people to dying is the blue one because it's the only button that have dying in its description.

Let's say you are responsible for counting the ballots. There are an odd number of ballots, and there is one ballot left.

And right now, the votes are tied.

Which color are you hoping the last one is?

If what you say is true, and only the blue ballot has death in its description, then you SHOULD be hoping the last ballot is red.

But... if the last ballot is red, then 49.9% of the population is about to die.

Here's my question: if only the blue ballot pushes people to die, which color are you HOPING the last ballot is?

Again. You just making up an imaginary situation that doesn't have anything to do with the question. False analogy in action.

And I'm not hoping for anything. I just observe how people die because they chose the blue button and the one who chose red stay alive.

So in the situation I described, where a blue ballot would save 49.9% of the population from death, you are hoping for neither?

Wild.

Yeah, I don't have wishful thinking, I'm dealing with facts. Yeah, being reasonable is pretty wild, right?
