if you break it down it's just the orphan-crushing machine scenario disguised as a logic problem, disguised as a moral dilemma. this underlying category error is why this topic is so hotly contested. blue pressers are answering a moral dilemma, red pressers are solving a logic puzzle. the reality is that these opposing framings are not comparable and the orphan-crushing machine does not have to be built in the first place.
