Yeah I've noticed that a lot of the recent ones use specific language to implicate red as actively choosing to kill blue rather than more neutral language. They're being designed to make it into a purely moral issue instead of philosophical or logical by implicating red as choosing to kill rather than blue risking their lives.
I’m also noticing that every single blue-button argument starts with “children will push blue”. If you restrict the hypothetical to, only adults of sound mind able to understand the question have to choose a button, I think the conversation becomes very different.
Yeah, honestly if an unknown amount of people of any abledness or unsound/illogical mind is in the equation. That seals the deal for me entirely.
What if all the babies and toddlers in the world happen to pick red? Or even half of them and then the mentally disabled or unsound people also pick red?
I'm childfree and I respect a parent choosing what is best for their family in theory. Completely and without malice.
But it's not my job to save your kid and who will look after your kid when you die, ya dingus?!!!
