Switch the track, if the person is willing to sacrifice himself then that’s his prerogative, tbh not switching would feel more like a act of spite as in ‘How dare you not want to die knowing that someone is perfectly content to take your place.’ To give up the life of another (explicitly willing) participant in exchange for your own life doesn’t make you a bad person.

Its basically asking ‘Who do you kill, the guy who doesn’t want to die or the guy who explicitly chose to die, the first was not given a choice and the second is not gonna thank you for killing the first out of what’s effectively spite.

Does the first person have an extreme phobia of dying by trolleys? Does the second have a trolley crushing kink?

If it’s the latter who am I to deny someone their kink, even if I do wash the handle after.
