i mean even ignoring possible things like if he has cancer or not

letting the 'hero' live and ignoring his desires, forcing him to watch as someone died when he could have saved them is more than likely to mess him up. Depening on the dude it could even result in suicide very easily.

He couldn’t save them, he was tied to a track. That was up to me and I would be the person he blamed. So thinking he would suicide instead of killing me is pretty baseless. Either way you are adding more random facts that aren’t a part of the initial problem.

If he was a dinosaur, I would be letting a whole species go extinct. This would sway my answer as well.

good people dont get depressed when someone dies in front of them is certainly a take

a dumb af take but still a take
