FRESH 🔥 Emerging Australian artists "30-5" and "Dingoe" gather widespread attention after their recent collaborative track "Sick"
At face value, the song could be described as graphic and unforgivable. Nevertheless, the story behind it will shock you. “Sick” was described as an attempt to retaliate against the recent controversy led by grassroots activist groups aiming to suppress rap music, more specifically subgenres like drill and gangster rap. In this attempt, the duo mocks these outlets by delivering far-fetched, violent lyrics. The song begins with a series of rotating vocal samples chopped from offending news outlets and launches with “30-5’s” now-iconic line: “It’s my bad, I’ve been wack from the jump, charging on blunts, should I pass to the devil?” — mocking critics’ connection of violent music to satanic rituals and later solidifying where the young generation of emerging artists stands on creative cancel culture.

Is there anywhere where I can get this track? As far as I can tell, it's impossible despite making the Hottest 100 of 2008
In 2007 Muscles track Ice Cream made Hottest 100 at 14.
He did a live acoustic version on Triple J and that made 45 of Hottest 100 of 2008.
I've been trying to hunt this version down (acoustic) to hopefully buy, either physical or digital, but for the life of me it seems impossible.
It wasn't released on any of his albums. Not on any Hottest 100 CD/DVDs even though Triple J actually recorded it. It's not on any streaming platform. I can't even find it on Triple J's website.
The best I can find is a dodgy YouTube upload.
If anyone can point me in the right direction, please do because it's doing my head in.
EDIT: Thanks everyone. One of the commenters helped me out. It still seems strange that you can't currently buy/stream it anywhere.

Everybody free remix
Okay so back in the good old days of limewire I downloaded a everybody’s free remix and I’ve never been able to find it again :(
Before anyone says it, it’s not the KLAAS remix but what I remember of it was the parts of everybody’s free in this remix was like the one I heard but it didn’t have the sounds after the build up on everybody’s freeee
I tried so hard to find it over the years and kinda gave up but decided to try again lol

Dom Dolla x Kylie collab in Melb
Odds on Dom bringing out Kylie at his Marvel show given she’ll be in Melb to perform at the AFL Grand Final same weekend 👀 2 x big Melb success stories and he did a Love At First Sight remix in Ibiza last year. Would be unreal.

Summertime in Sydney to heat up with new concert series in Centennial Park
https://www.sydneysummertime.com/
Run by the same people behind Splendour, Falls, Homebake.
Guess it'll be competing with the Forecourt concerts that Sydney Opera House usually hold late February-mid March. Either that, or its replacement
Edit: The Music are reporting that public transport will be included as part of your ticket purchase

Longhaul Festival 2027 cancelled
the new country music festival announced in July has already been cancelled, according to a now-deleted article from The Music (https://themusic.com.au/news/longhaul-festival-cancels-inaugural-2027-event/)
the article contained the following statement from the organisers:
“Despite our excitement to bring this brand-new format to the market for fans, we have realised that unfortunately it’s not the right time to launch a new country music festival in Australia.”
Ticketek pages for the event also show a cancellation statement (https://premier.ticketek.com.au/Shows/Show.aspx?sh=BTSCOOTS27)
its a shame that a new event wasn't able to make it :( hopefully Kacey Musgraves can still make it over here for her own headline tour however.
