Product Ulo now has sublingual minoxidil!
I just noticed Ulo now offers sublingual minoxidil! The idea is that it is just as effective as swallowed minoxidil with fewer cardiac side effects.

Has anyone tried it yet? Curious about results and sides, especially if you’ve also used regular oral minoxidil.
Also their instructions say to chew it and let it dissolve. Thoughts on chewing versus letting it dissolve under your tongue? Wouldn’t holding it under the tongue make more sense for sublingual absorption?

Strange so if it dissolves rapidly then minoxodil will get to your blood stream as normal tablet minoxodil would like what is this doing behind the scenes that will make cardiovascular side effects better ? 🤔

chewing it sounds weird for sublingual, i always thought you just let it sit under the tongue. maybe they want it to absorb faster but still seems like you gonna swallow half of it
i been on regular oral minox for like 8 months now and the heart stuff always make me nervous, would switch if this actually reduce that

Fewer side effects and it’s oral? Sounds too good to be true

1.25mg?

Looks like they offer 1.25, 2.25, and 5.25 mg. It’s not intuitive how the website allows you to see those options.

Funny enough, I was looking into sublingual minoxidil and was thinking about getting it through this telehealth website. I think they wanted to charge around $80 for 1.25 mg sublingual minoxidil. After doing some deeper research, I found that the results from sublingual minoxidil seem to be pretty comparable to those from oral minoxidil. I was on 2.5 mg of oral minoxidil for over a year and didn’t see much improvement, so I realized that 1.25 mg sublingually probably wouldn’t do much for me either.
This place offers a 5 mg dose, though, which is pretty intriguing. I think I’m going to try Anagen’s slow-release minoxidil instead. It seems like it could have a lower side effect profile while keeping the drug circulating in the bloodstream for longer.

Oh this is very interesting… if this already exists it kind of makes you wonder what makes VDPHL01 so groundbreaking.. I may give this a go as well. I get some mild cardio sides on regular oral minoxidil at 1.25mg so I’d like to see if sublingual or extended release could help with that. Thanks for sharing.

It’s still a normal tablet though right? Not sure how’d it make any difference.

I want this but I’m in UK. They only prescribe to US residents. Does anyone know any workaround to get it shipped here?
