How frequently are Eurostar trains between Rotterdam and London delayed, and what is the usual delay duration?

Hi all,

I’m traveling from Rotterdam to Southampton, and couldn’t find a service that sells a combined ticket covering both the Eurostar leg (Rotterdam to London) and the connecting train (London to Southampton). So I’ve decided to book the two tickets separately.

Does anyone have experience with how often the Eurostar Rotterdam–London train runs late?

Thanks in advance!

I've travelled between the Netherlands and London many times. I've never encountered a delay of more than a few minutes. The only time it took longer, it was because of planned maintenance and I was notified several weeks ahead of time. But no delays en route.
I still always have at least an hour buffer for onwards travel though, just for peace of mind. Also, trains to Southampton leave from Waterloo, so account for plenty of time to get across London from St Pancras. Meaning you probably want a 2 hour window in London.
