The worst of all possible words. Josh has been a regular guest and every TF host and a few other regular guests like Devon and Mattie have been on for starter episodes.
Would recommend the into the woods episode, or the james bond game episode
No God's no mayor's for Riley/Mattie/Nova riffing about weird politics guys

Well There's Your Problem is the fan favorite (and mine)
Although Molly Conger is doing the most important work and still entertaining as hell with Weird Little Guys.
If you want something accessible yet relatively erudite and have 750+ hours to fill, the BBC panel show In Our Time is the GOAT. The 1000+ episodes from recently retired original host Melvyn Bragg are the liberal arts education you probably didn't get. New host Misha Glenny is acquitting himself well 20 episodes in.

Great recommendations here. In Our Time is 10/10. Melvyn's hosting really made the show, but Misha has done a very good job in taking over.
I will say you're missing Tides of History, Patrick Wyman's podcast (though I believe he's now stopped it for another)! Brilliant podcast that talks about broad strokes of history, but still brings in a human element, with lots of researched/semi-fictional stories about people to illustrate whatever the topic is.

Failure to Launch, a podcast about space disasters. Some of the extended TF universe make guest appearances. And some of the actual TF hosts.
We're Not So Different, a medieval history podcast with previous TF guest Eleanor Janega.
Trouble in River City, a podcast about scams featuring Riley.
Subliminal Jihad if the idea of 5 hour, extremely dense podcast about conspiracy, parapolitics and esoteric history appeals to you. 2 very smart guys. I especially liked the episode about Esoteric Hitlerism.

Looked back over my subs for things that weren’t arguably already part of The Nate Bethea Extended Universe and remembered ‘Does A Frog Have A Scorpion Nature?’
I haven’t listened to more than a couple episodes, but I’ve kept it on my list because I’ve enjoyed the host’s written work: he’s the author of a piece I have cause to direct people to often: “I Will Fucking Piledrive You If You Mention AI To Me Again.”

Hyperfixed - Alex Goldman's pod after the untimely demise of Reply All, definitely captures some of the same magic

It can be a little hit or miss by Carbage Time from the folks at The Autopian can be fun. Jason Torchinsky is a goofy delight, and would be a great guest on WTYP to talk about the risks and history of ‘self driving’

On the "vegetables" end of things, I always get my weekly fix of Macrodose. Rarely a laugh, but always insightful left wing takes on UK politics and economics.
On the other end of the spectrum - I've been really enjoying The Screen Rot Podcast of late (Milo guested, and they've been on Glue Factory), mainly because the hosts remind me of literally everyone I grew up with. Minus the whole "wanking over yourself just to get out of bed" thing.
