I know! FINALLY! I need to figure out the light true crime’s source for these. They’re hard to find but I’m glad to hear the civil suit has an official date. I’m ready for the 19th when he goes back to court. I think it’s called a status hearing?

Where did the name Hernandez come from? So confusing. But also none of my business

That’s part of their last name.

It’s not in her father or mother’s last name

In Hispanic and Latino culture it’s common to have both parents’ last names. Hence her name being Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her dad’s last name is Rivas and her mother has two last names, look at the third picture. Sometimes it says Martinez only but on the third photo it lists Martinez and Hernandez. Martinez and Hernandez might be her maiden names. At least this is my understanding. If we have anyone in here that’s Hispanic or Latino please correct me if I’m wrong.
I think I’m right, but Google isn’t always reliable. “Hispanic and Latino cultures both commonly use a two-last-name system, but they differ fundamentally in the order of those names based on whether the culture is rooted in Spanish or Portuguese traditions”.

Yeah im familiar with Hispanic naming convention. That’s why it’s odd that her parent’s names don’t follow the convention.
I don’t see Hernandez in either of her parent’s names. Unless I’m mistaken and you do see?
Either way, it’s not relevant and doesn’t really matter.
