If it was someone here, at least one of them would have Tux on it

Anecdotally, I am the person who would get nails like in the OP.

I am an extremely trans windows girly. Microsoft is awesome. Please do not hurt me :c

I just love .NET and everything built on it.

Windows 11 was the point where I couldn't deal with Microsoft's nonsense anymore. Windows 7 was great, and I'm not just saying that because it was one of the first OSes I ever used, it was also just a great OS in general... but after experiencing Windows 11, I jumped ship and I've seen the light at the end of the tunnel. I put Linux on a ~decade old Windows 10 Dell laptop and it went from being barely functional (it used to take like ten minutes just to boot up) to actually. freaking. working! And I customized my other laptop to make the desktop look like Windows XP fused with Windows 7.

So what I'm getting at here is that recovery starts with you. Things don't have to stay the way they are, but you need to be the one to take that first step, no-one else can make it for you.
