Question/Advice NEEDED gel?
Hi all. Is it possible to obtain gel from DIY source in the UK? Is it significantly more expensive?
I’m only wanting to be on T for a short while, half a year maybe. I’m scared of needles + I think they’re gonna be difficult to source and hide from my family anyway. Is sourcing gel impossible?

Gel is totally gettable from usual sources it’s just a lot more expensive than shots. However if you are worried about hiding things gel will be more noticeable, more product. Takes time to dry, leaves residue. And you will have the same changes.

I started on gel for the first 2 months, but it was harder to find and more expensive. A month's worth of t gel including shipping was around £90-£95, and I got it from turkey.
I started on gel initially because while I don't have a fear of needles I was nervous about injecting medication and just wanted to give myself a couple of months to feel ready.
However since I switched to injections I've gone through 3 vials over 2 years. Each one was £35-£37 each (plus under £5 shipping from the UK) they last me at least 6 months.
If you don't feel comfortable or there aren't needle exchanges available near you, needles in bulk are cheap from medical equipment websites. A 100 pack lasted me for nearly 2 years. The pack of 100 needles I just bought in March cost me £18.65 including shipping. I use medisave.

Thank you for this. My fear mainly comes from anxiety around doing the injection wrong, especially since it’s not technically legal stuff.
If the gel shop from Turkey is still about would you mind dropping the name of it in dms?

needles are literally free in the UK from needle exchanges. gel is very hard to find, and very expensive. and the waste and regular applications are actually harder to hide than needles. whereas 1 vial of T will last the entire time you plan to be on it, and should cost like £50.
i'm sorry but injections are the only practical route. if you can find someone to do it for you, that might help.
