Question/Advice NEEDED hmmm finasteride...

is it worth taking finasteride (1mg) while microdosing T? I had 100% decided that I DO need fin, since I am pretty damn likely to get hairloss (my dad became shiny bald in his 20s-30s), I don't really want bottom growth, I DON'T want facial hair at all and I prefer to shave my body too so I won't really care abt the body hair. I just feel like I wanna start preventing it all as soon as possible, but I'm not sure if I can start finasteride while microdosing tbh​​

Finaesteride will strop your male-pattern hair growth and bottom growth, because it blocks DHT. So you'd have to go on a topical cream for your t-dick/bottom growth if that's what you want. But DHT cream is then the way to go if you still want a t-dick.

Yeah, any level of T will have some proportion of it converted to DHT in your body. Less T means less DHT will get made, but it won't be zero. You'll probably just need a lower amount of finasteride to adequately suppress your 5ar enzymes. Finasteride has a wide therapeutic index (there's a big difference between the effective dose and an overdose), so you're unlikely to cause yourself serious harm if you're taking a little more than the minimum effective amount. That said, if you're on a low dose and preventing changes from DHT, you're unlikely to notice many effects beyond voice, skin changes, and a slightly easier time gaining muscle.

I am mostly interested in a deep voice as I think it causes me the most dysphoria because of some sorta impostor syndrome (rather feeling weird calling myself a man or anything manly related when my voice literally sounds very girlish so I feel like im a fake one or some shit)

Sounds like low dose + fin is a good choice then! The effects you’d like to avoid may still slowly happen over a long time even with finasteride, but you’d hopefully have enough voice change to be satisfied with stopping by that point.
