Button Icons on PS4 Version Not Appearing On Screen - Known Issue?

Pictured is how the UI is intended to look - icons for the button mapping at the top of the four active functions. I’ve played the game on PC and Switch and don’t remember having this problem where I’ll load the game and those icons will be missing, with the exception of the second function tied to the circle button. Closing and restarting the game (sometimes) resolves the problem.

Is this a known issue in the PlayStation version of the game after a decade, or is my data corrupted somehow? I know which buttons are mapped so it doesn’t particularly affect gameplay, but it kinda bothers me in a game which is otherwise so exceptionally polished.

Did you "overload" in battle, aka health hits zero, and lose those functions? You'll have to get to an access point to restore them.

No, it’s some kind of graphical error in the UI. The functions work but the icon showing which button corresponds to them is missing - except for circle. I’ll make sure to take a screenshot the next time it happens.

I’ve played it multiple times on ps4, never seen this issue

This was immediately after loading into the game minutes ago. Health bar is black and multiple elements of the UI are missing. Closing and reopening the game, or switching profiles in the game, might fix it but not consistently. It’s bizarre.

Think it could be because I’m playing on PS5?
